When the car slowly rolls the first meters, the car does not have to “strain” too much to start the journey. The automatic transmission of the high-end version only has 4 gears, but according to Mitsubishi representatives, it is aligned with long gear steps to make the most of the limited resources of the 1.5 liter engine block.

My experience on the street is quite comfortable and gentle, the only thing that is a bit inconvenient is that the steering wheel can only be adjusted high and low, not protruding. This makes it difficult for me to find the most comfortable position for my arms, legs and back. There will always be some parts that have to be “sacrificed”, whether it’s the arm being a little too straight or the leg having to “hardly” shrink a bit. The car mirror is attached to the door wall so the side view is very clear, I can easily observe motorbikes accidentally rushing out from the branch road. The front of the car is short so alignment is also very easy. However, the car only has a reverse camera and no reverse sensor, so I still have to be very careful when parking. Anyway, front and rear sensors are toys that car owners can easily customize at a nominal cost.

A valuable addition to the Xpander and Xpander Cross is that the central screen now supports Apple Carplay and Android Auto. With these two connection standards, you can easily listen to music via Spotify, Music on your phone, check messages, calls and especially use Google Maps. Although nowadays, customizing an Android screen for a car is very easy, the original screen of the Xpander Cross is already quite good.
