The most powerful weapons in Don’t Starve Together
Weapons in Don’t Starve Together will help you destroy enemies and survive overnight battles. Here it is Ranking the highly rated weapons in Don’t Starve Together.
The Alarming Clock
| Manufacturing formula | 3 Time Pieces, 8 Nightmare Fuel, 4 Marble |
| How to own | Clocksmithy Tab (exclusive to Wanda) |
While exclusive to Wanda, this whip-like weapon, when charged with four Nightmare Fuel, can deal 81 damage – and that’s not including all the bonuses from Wanda’s age (each of which has a different animation when she uses the weapon).
As Wanda ages, she deals additional damage with Shadow weapons, increasing the Alarming Clock’s damage to a staggering 142. Additionally, the Alarming Clock can be charged with additional Nightmare Fuel to prevent damage.
The Thulecite Club
| Manufacturing formula | 4 Thulecite, 4 Nightmare Fuel, 3 Living Logs |
| How to own | Craft it while you are at the Ancient Pseudoscience Station |
A great reason to rush to Dangerous Ruin is to craft the Thulecite Club as you need to be near an active Ancient Pseudoscience Machine to craft it. This weapon could never be a prototype, but its unique passive effect makes this staff stand out from the others.
With each hit, you have a 20% chance to possess a Shadow Tentacle, which helps you attack nearby enemies. Not only that, it also increases speed by 10%!
The Morning Star
| Manufacturing formula | 1 Volt Goat Horn, 2 Niter, 2 Electrical Doodads |
| How to own | Prototype it at Alchemy Machine |
This sparkling weapon usually only deals 43 damage per hit, so what makes it unique? It emits a large radius of light and deals 72 damage if your target is wet. That means it’s perfect for exploring caves.
Hitting a Volt Goat with this weapon will charge the poor creature with electricity, making collecting Electric Milk much easier. However, the Morning Star will lose its durability when held in the hand, so remember to put the Morning Star away when not in use to avoid damaging it too soon.
The Glass Cutter
| Manufacturing formula | 1 Plank and 6 Moon Shards |
| How to own | Craft it from the Celestial Tab near the Celestial Altar |
This glass weapon is difficult to find, but its damage is on par with the Dark Sword without the annoying sanity drain, so it’s completely worth it. You need to find Celestial Altar to craft it. Set sail and head to Moon Island.
What makes the Glass Cutter worth the nightmarish ride is that it loses half its durability when fighting any of Charlie’s minions.
The Dark Sword
| Manufacturing formula | 5 Nightmare Fuel, 1 Living Log |
| How to own | Prototype it in Shadow Manipulator |
Technically, the Dark Sword is the second strongest weapon in the series Don’t Starve Together and is one of the fan-favorite weapons, but the cost of using it is quite expensive.
When your character holds the Dark Sword, the sanity stat will decrease at an astonishing rate of -20 per minute. And with most boss battles causing you to lose sanity just from fighting them, keeping as much sanity is even more important.
The Ham Bat
| Manufacturing formula | 2 Twigs, 2 Meat, 1 Pig Skin |
| How to own | Prototype it in Alchemy Engine |
Whether or not you want to use your rare foods to use the Ham Bat is up to you, but the ham stick will last longer than you might think.
The meat on the weapon only lasts ten days, but you can use it unlimitedly during that time. The Ham Bat deals 59.5 damage, making it a great choice to carry into battle when you know the weapon’s durability won’t be an issue. Use it to fertilize your berry bushes after you’re done!
