Discovery and Resources
Moving tips
Jumping is often quite “waste” in this game. Instead, you should dash right before jumping, which helps you jump much further. This is extremely necessary to reach high platforms or cross gaps.
Sometimes resources are in high places that you can’t jump to. Perform an attack while in the air, the attack will push you up a bit, just enough to reach the resource.
Collection system
- AI teammates will automatically pick up resources for you, but only after you’ve picked up that type of resource yourself at least once.
- So, make it a habit: every time you see a new resource, pick it up yourself first. Then your team will handle it automatically.
- AI teammates will also pick up items dropped from enemies and assist with tasks in the base. Once set up, this system is extremely convenient.
Smart Mining
- Initially, you will have Portable Originium Rigs. They are usable, but quite annoying because they have to be put down, quickly filled, and then have to run back and forth to collect them.
- You should upgrade to Electric Mining Rigs as soon as possible.
- Just build a Relay Tower and a few Electric Pylons to provide power, and the ore will automatically go straight to your warehouse. This saves huge time.
Team building
You can’t just put the Operators you like together and expect everything to work smoothly. The damage system in this game is very in-depth.
Elemental Approach
The Arts squad focuses on elemental attacks. You have two main directions:
- Stack the same element to deal massive explosive damage
- Combine many different elements to create adverse effects on enemies
Arts Burst and Arts Reaction
- When you use the same Arts (for example, two Cryo attacks), you will create an Arts Burst – pure, powerful, and direct damage.
- When you combine different Arts (for example: Cryo + Heat), you will activate Arts Reaction >> Enemies can be frozen, electrocuted, or take damage over time.
4 types of Arts in the game
- Heat: causes fire
- Cryo: freeze
- Electric: causes electric shock
- Nature: corrosive
Physical approach
- Instead of a chain reaction, you’ll corner your enemy for a single killing blow.
- Inflicts Vulnerable status on enemies.
- Aggravated by tossing or knocking over.
- Finally, use Crush or Breach to drain all Vulnerable stacks and deal massive damage
- Some strong enemies have a Stagger bar. When this bar is filled, they will be stunned for a few seconds, which is the opportunity to release all damage.
Combat tips to help you survive
Heavy Attack
- Each character has a Heavy Attack after 4-5 normal attacks.
- Heavy Attack deals high damage but the animation is very long, easily causing you to be counterattacked.
Solution: As soon as the Heavy Attack hits, dodge or use a skill. You still keep the damage but skip the dangerous stationary part.
Use all 4 characters at the same time
- You don’t need to change characters to use their skills.
- While controlling the main DPS, just press another character’s skill button and they will launch the skill from behind.
Skill system
- All 4 characters share 3 Skill Points (SP)
- SP recovers slowly over time, faster when dodged perfectly, using Heavy Attack
Classification of skills
- Battle Skill: Costs 1 SP, can be used continuously if enough SP
- Combo Skill: Does not cost SP, but requires activation conditions (enemy is frozen, knocked down…), has cooldown
- Ultimate: Needs full energy
An effective strategy is to set up a situation: Freeze the enemy → switch to a character with Combo Skill activated on the frozen target → continue the combo chain → increase the damage.
Equipment
Priority 1: Choose the right index
- Choose equipment according to the character’s stats: STR, AGI, INT, WILL
- The main index is much more important: 2 main indexes ≈ 5 secondary indexes in value.
Priority 2: Increase skill damage
- Once you have the right stats, find the right damage % bonus
- If the character mainly deals damage with Battle Skills, choose Battle Skill DMG Bonus
Priority 3: Bonus equipment set
Set bonuses are only really important in the late game, when you have used level 70 equipment and need to optimize every detail.
