To celebrate 100 years of establishment and operation in the car industry, Bentley has launched a special car line with a limited production of only 100 units worldwide – Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition. In addition to celebrating its 100th anniversary, Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition was also produced to pay homage to the “father” of the British car brand, Mr. Walter Owen Bentley.

Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition is directly inspired, or in other words copied in style, from the 1930 8 Liter car line that was designed by Walter Owen himself. A typical example is the ownership of a special Black Onyx black paint color with the body and fenders having the 1919 – 2019 logo and Mr. Walter Owen’s signature. This is considered a detail to identify WO Edition from other versions.

Similar to other luxury cars from Bentley, Mulsanne WO Edition also possesses a series of shiny and prominent chrome-plated details such as grille, air intakes, glass door braces, door handles,…

The wheels are still painted sporty black with the gold-rimmed Bentley logo in the center. Not only that, the Bentley logos located at the front and rear of the car also have gold borders. This is considered a very expensive design detail on the WO Edition, making it completely different from the standard version.

Not only the exterior, the interior of the Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition also gives customers a feeling of luxury and class from a series of expensive materials such as 4 different types of wood paneling, aluminum plating, and premium Fireglow red Beluga leather. In addition, the Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition also inherits design details from the 8 Liter 1930 such as sheep wool carpets, curtains and glass cups.

More specifically, the Mulsanne WO Edition passenger compartment is also equipped with a glowing cocktail cabinet with decorative motifs reminiscent of the image of the front of the 1930 8 Liter car with a matrix grille and large round headlights.

In addition to using high-quality Fireglow red Beluga leather to cover the car seats, Bentley also embroiders the founder’s name prefix on the headrest of each chair. This is to emphasize the origin of the Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition.

On the door sill area is also engraved with the special WO Edition logo and the words “1 of 100” representing the car’s factory serial number.

Unlike the changed interior and exterior design, Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition does not receive any engine upgrades compared to the standard version. Specifically, Mulsanne WO Edition will have 3 different engine configurations: Standard, EWB and Speed.

Both the Standard and EWB versions of the WO Edition are equipped with a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V8 gasoline engine, producing a maximum capacity of 505 horsepower and maximum torque of 1020 Nm. Meanwhile, the more advanced Speed version also has a 6.75L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, but the maximum capacity is pushed to 530 horsepower and maximum torque reaches 1100 Nm.

All of this power will be transmitted to the rear axle through an 8-speed automatic transmission on the Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition. With this powertrain, Mulsanne WO Edition achieves impressive 0 – 100 km/h acceleration with 5.3 seconds (for Standard and EWB versions) and 4.9 seconds (for Speed version).

The price of each Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition car can be around 330,000 USD (~ 7.67 billion VND) in the UK market. This is not a very high price for a super luxury car model with a limited edition of 100 units globally and the spiritual values it brings.

Although the number of Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition shipped is 100 units, only 5 units will be allowed to be sold in the Asia-Pacific market. This is to ensure that the total number of vehicles can be distributed evenly across the world.

Currently, the only Bentley Mulsanne WO Edition sold in Vietnam has returned home and is rolling on the streets, but the price has not yet been disclosed.
