Develop characters and upgrade equipment
Unlike traditional Monster Hunter versions, Adventurers have their own names and possess pre-set weapons and special skills. Meanwhile, your customizable main character offers more freedom when switching between weapons.
| Upgrade category | Priority in the early stages |
| The main explorer | Focus resources to develop characters you love to use. |
| Weapons | Improve equipment to suit your preferred fighting style. |
| Giap | Prioritize survival when facing more difficult hunts. |
| Skill | Find out the main character’s skills before investing widely. |
| Companion | Choose companions whose abilities complement your combat role. |
| Construction | Build useful discovery aids to reduce travel time. |
The important point is that you should not scatter valuable materials among all available characters. Instead, start by developing a reliable damage dealer, then build a support squad as more new content is unlocked.
You can also test out different weapons before deciding to invest in expensive upgrades.
