Spirit Charm ranking in VV Ultimatum
A Song of Fire and Thunder Tier 1
“I AM FIRE. I AM LIGHTNING. I AM FLAME GIVEN FORM!”
Uses:
- When AP is above 1.25x, your melee attacks will be imbued with fire and deal greater damage.
- When HP is below 25% of maximum HP, your high-damage melee attacks can apply the Burn effect with a 10 second cooldown.
- When AP is above 1.2x, kido attacks will be imbued with lightning and cause a stronger stun effect.
- When HP is below 25% of maximum HP, high-damage kido attacks can apply the Electrocute effect with a 10 second cooldown.
Evaluate:
One of the most flashy and complete premium amulets. It rewards good AP management, supports both melee and kido attacks, and becomes especially scary when you’re low on HP and still trying to counterattack.
Shonen Syndrome Tier 1
“Hmph. I’m an avenger.”
Uses:
- Shout out the move you are about to use.
- Upgrade moves 2 more levels.
- No effect after level 6.
- There is a 25 second cooldown between upgrades.
Evaluate:
A powerful tempo boost for players who know when to act. The cooldown means you can’t overuse it, but upgrading the right move at the right time can completely turn the tide of battle.
Adrenaline Junkie Tier 2
“Thrill-seeking taken to the extreme.”
Uses:
- Increases damage by 1% when attacking the target, stacking up to 110%.
- Techniques that attack multiple times do not count towards cumulative effects.
- If you do not hit an enemy or are not attacked for 30 seconds, your damage will return to 100%.
- Takes 1% damage when hit by an attack, down to 10%.
Evaluate:
Great for aggressive players who can maintain pressure without committing harsh fouls. The rules encourage precise attacking play, but penalties will make the game difficult if you are repeatedly fouled.
Await the Opening Tier 2
“Be patient, take every advantage.”
Uses:
- The parry attack breaks the defensive position.
- Parrying deals 50% damage to defense position.
Evaluate:
This is a great choice for defensive-minded players. If you are good at judging attacks and parrying them, this weapon will turn any proper defense into real pressure on the opponent’s posture.
Blademaster Tier 3
“An ancient charm, belonging to a blade master.”
Uses:
- Your basic blade attack causes the Deep Gash effect.
- Basic blade attacks deal 90% less damage.
- When you reach 3 stacks of Deep Gash, you deal 110% damage as normal.
Evaluate:
A melee weapon requires a high level of commitment, trading initial burst damage for long-term effectiveness. It works best when you can stay on target long enough to take full advantage of the Deep Gash effect.
Blazing Spirit Tier 3
“An eternal unwavering flame.”
Uses:
- Parrying a basic melee attack will activate the soulfire on your blade.
- The fire effect has a 5 second cooldown and increases damage by +10%.
- Basic melee attacks not triggered by fire deal -2% damage.
Evaluate:
It would be great if your defenses were sharp. The bonus is quite substantial, but the spell really wants you to deal damage with precise parries instead of just randomly mashing basic attack buttons.
Curtain Call Tier 3
“The final curtain drops.”
Uses:
- When your spiritual energy reaches 100%, basic attacks will receive a percentage of lifesteal.
- You no longer automatically regenerate spiritual energy.
Evaluate:
A risky healing talisman for players who can fight with full reiatsu. The lifesteal potential may be great, but losing the passive reiatsu regeneration makes poor resource management disastrous.
Haze of Death Tier 3
“You’ll die after this.”
Uses:
- Critical attacks cause Curse effects.
- Cooldown time is 50 seconds.
Evaluate:
Simple, useful and easy to understand. It’s not flashy, but attaching the Cursed effect to your critical strike will add more power to your burst attacks in PvP.
Heavenly Restriction Tier 3
“Certain shinigami born thousands of years ago… could never utilize techniques…”
Uses:
- Physical attacks are up to 35% stronger, proportional to Level.
- Increases movement speed by up to 15%, proportional to Level.
- Increases kido defense by up to 25%, proportional to Level.
- Your critical attacks now trigger the Kill Confirmed effect.
- You cannot use any skills.
- Does not fully stack with Warrior Spirit.
Evaluate:
A gameplay-shaping talisman for those who want to focus exclusively on close combat. The stat set is strong, but the loss of some skills means you need a solid foundation and confidence in your melee play.
Kill Confirmed Tier 3
“How many friends did you bring? Doesn’t matter.”
Uses:
- Knocking down your opponents will cause them to succumb to the pressure of your spiritual energy.
- This causes their heads to blow off.
- Blowing their heads off will temporarily reduce your damage to nearby enemies by 5%.
- Cooldown time is 5 seconds.
Evaluate:
A brutal finishing spell with the ability to support group combat. It’s especially useful when you can continuously take down enemies and turn one downed enemy into pressure on all surrounding enemies.
Last Man Standing Tier 3
“JOJO! This is the last of my ham… That’s not the right shonen.”
Uses:
- If an ally is killed within 90 meters of you, drain the enemy’s health and gain a percentage of that health back for yourself.
- Your healing from all sources is halved.
Evaluate:
More effective in co-op battles than single player. The bonus can help you survive when your allies start to fall, but the recovery penalty makes it weaker if you don’t fight with your allies.
Raid Boss Tier 3
“You stop feeling, you stop thinking. You stop being you. There is only the fight.”
Uses:
- For each nearby enemy, gain 1 stack of Battle Fever.
- For each nearby ally, lose 1 stack of Battle Fever, up to a maximum of 10 points.
- Each stack of Battle Fever increases defense taken by 5% and damage taken by 3% (both up to x3.5).
- At higher stacks, you gain additional bonuses such as weaker Curtain Call (3 stacks), immunity to slowing effects (4 stacks), double lifesteal (5 stacks), and periodic Perfect Flash activation on basic attacks (7 stacks).
- When Battle Fever expires and an ally is nearby, you take 10% more damage.
Evaluate:
This is truly a powerful weapon in unequal battles. It is designed for players who want to engage in uneven battles and take advantage of the power of surrounding enemies, but loses much of its value when you play it safe with allies.
Soul Snatcher Tier 3
“I’m mister body catcher.”
Uses:
- Using any Kido skill on an opponent with health below 11% will activate Soul Snatcher.
- Enemies affected by Soul Snatcher will be knocked up immediately after a short period of time.
Evaluate:
An extremely dangerous finishing tool for kido builds. It’s most effective when you can accurately mark low-health enemies and prevent them from escaping or stabilize the situation.
