Instructions for creating music in Heartopia
Music is a fun part of playing Heartopia. Below are detailed instructions on how to create music in Heartopia.
Create the new life in Heartopia you want, spend time with friends and complete quests around town. As relationships grow, you will be able to pursue your dreams! One of those dreams is to produce music, allowing you to share your artistic talents with the neighborhood.
However, this feature will not be opened immediately. You need to meet some conditions. Here’s everything you need to know to record and release your own music for everyone to hear in Heartopia!
How to unlock musical dreams in Heartopia
Before you can compose music, you need to meet certain level requirements. To get started, you must reach Developer’s Guild Level 17. Although Dreams can be unlocked earlier, Music Dreams are only unlocked at this level. Once you reach that milestone, Heartopia will open the door for you to start making music.
However, simply unlocking the musical dream is not enough. You also need the right equipment. So the next step is to go to Ka Ching’s grocery store, where you can buy a record player. But before that, you will receive a call from Annie to accept the Melody’s Echo quest. Complete it, then go to Ka Ching’s store to buy the record.
This item is essential. Without it, you cannot record music. After purchasing a record player, place it in your home. Your home will serve as a recording studio. After placing the record player, interacting with it will open the music recording interface. At that time, Music Dream will be fully activated, and you can start pursuing your dream of becoming a superstar in Heartopia.
How to create music in Heartopia
Start recording
To start, interact with your player. This will open the recording menu, where you can start a recording session. When the timer starts counting down, the recording window will open and you can start playing and recording your music.
It’s best to pre-determine what you want to record and practice before starting a session. Because if you stop playing or make a mistake, the recording will still save exactly what you played. But remember, practice will make you perfect, and playing Heartopia is about having fun, so don’t worry about not getting a perfect recording session the first time.
Record and publish music records
After recording a song, you can burn it to CD. This requires a Music CD Publishing Permit – Music CD Publishing License. This license is the cost to officially release music to the market. Once burned, your music CD becomes a tangible product. Furthermore, others may:
- Buy your CDs.
- Listen to it at home.
- Like to support your work.
Additionally, every interaction contributes directly to the progress of your musical dreams, so publishing a record is essential if you want to achieve every goal. Like book publishing, once a CD has been released, it can no longer be edited. Therefore, take great care of the music you export to CD.
