Instructions for creating flashcards on quizizz to learn vocabulary

Flashcard is a type of information card, used in studying in class or personal memory. This is a very effective method used by many people to learn English vocabulary. Quizizz also integrates this feature for teachers to simulate new words or any concepts, definitions and students easily remember them more. This article will guide How to create flashcards on quizizz.

How to create flashcards on quizizz

Step 1: Login to Quizizz and press the button Create.

Step 2: Select Topic and name of the lesson content, then press Next.

Step 3: Select 1 of 6 questions (Multiple Choice, Checkbox, Fill in the Blank, Open-Evered and Poll), establish the content of the question such as questions, answers, … If it is not clear how to create questions, please refer to how to create sentences Ask and test on Quizizz.

For learning vocabulary with Flashcard, the creator makes the image showing new words in the question section so that learners can easily absorb and remember.

Step 4: Press Save To save the question just created. After completing new words with images or illustrations, … the instructor needs to click on Shareselect Copy Link To copy and send links to participants in the lesson.

Step 5: When clicking the link, select Flashcards To start.

Step 6: Questions, images will appear in the form of cards, when clicking Flip New words or answers will appear in the back.

After viewing the flashcards and memorizing the content, people can return to step 5 and click Start To review the content that has just been learned in the form of multiple choice exercises created in step 3.

Create flashcard with quizizz

Users can create flashcards with quizizz in 4 ways:

• Copy and paste text from anywhere to create flashcards
• Create a flashcard from learning materials such as presentation, documents and images
• Enter the prompt or topic to create a flashcard
• Create flashcards from websites or online posts

Create a flashcard by pasting any text/content

• Click Generate In the left navigation compartment
• Select Flashcards
• Go to the part General with Ai On the left side of the screen
• Click the tab Paste Text
• Enter/paste compulsory content into text fields
• Click Generate Flashcards

Create memory cards from learning materials

• Click Generate In the left navigation compartment
• Select Flashcards
• Go to the part General with Ai On the left side of the screen
• Click the tab Document
• Upload documents from device or Google Drive

Users can also upload images. Just click the button Take a picturescan the QR code with a smartphone (will navigate to Quizizz smartphone application) and click on the image of the learning material

• After the learning material file is uploaded, set the option according to the number of flashcards, output language, themes, …
• Click Generate Flashcards
