Grow a Garden 2 just launched, bringing a completely new pet system to the game. These companions will follow you around the farm and can be fed to grow faster. With unique abilities, pets can help speed up crop growth, provide free rewards, or assist in gathering resources from others. Below is a list of all pets available in Grow a Garden 2 and their uses.

Currently, Grow a Garden 2 (GAG 2) has 12 types of pets that can appear in the garden and provide passive effects. You can own pets by purchasing them when they appear in the lobby.

How to raise pets in Grow a Garden 2
Pets in GAG 2 will appear randomly in the lobby. Gamers just need to come close and buy them with Sheckles.
Note: The pet will follow the current owner. If another player pays a higher price, the pet will move to that person’s garden. Each pet that appears has a timer and will disappear when the time ends if no one buys it.
How to unlock pet boxes in Grow a Garden 2
By default, players can equip up to 3 pets. To increase the number of pets that can be used at the same time, you need to buy more Slots with Sheckles.
- 200,000 Sheckles: Open 1 more slot (4 Slots total)
- 1,000,000 Sheckles: Open 1 more slot (total 5 Slots)
Top pets to keep in Grow a Garden 2
Because Grow a Garden 2 has just been released, the number of pets is not too large. However, if you have a limited number of cells, here are some options worth prioritizing:
- Bunny: Rabbits help increase movement speed, helping you explore the map faster and more conveniently in resource gathering or competition activities.
- Bee: Bees are useful for protecting the garden from other players while you are busy exploring or doing other activities.
- Deer: Deer help crops grow 10% faster, thereby speeding up the harvesting process and earning Sheckles in the early game.
