Garena Vietnam held a celebration ceremony for SEA Games 33 with Lien Quan Mobile and FC Online content

At the end of SEA Games 33, the Vietnam Sports Team – e-sports department has reaped many achievements in the regional arena. In order to recognize and honor the medal-winning athletes and coaches, the SEA Games 33 celebration ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere with the participation of guests who were representatives of the City Department of Culture and Sports. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dac Ba Nhat – representative of Garena Vietnam acknowledged the great contributions of individuals attending SEA Games 33 to the country’s e-sports industry. He emphasized: “Achievements at the SEA Games are not just an individual mark, but the crystallization of an entire process of persistent development of Vietnamese e-sports.”, and affirmed: “Over the past 15 years, Garena has always persistently pursued a consistent direction: building a comprehensive, professional and sustainable Esports ecosystem, closely linked to the national sports system and in accordance with the State’s management orientation.”

Besides, at the ceremony, Mr. Mai Ba Hung – Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City Electronic Sports Federation also shared the coordination model between the Federation – Publisher – teams and clubs; In which, the Publisher plays a central role. The model aims to respect and protect the legal rights of stakeholders, while promoting the e-sports ecosystem to develop creatively, healthily and sustainably.

At SEA Games 33, Vietnamese e-sports teams made an outstanding mark, especially in Lien Quan Mobile content with two Gold Medals, contributing to affirming the country’s position in the regional arena.

Besides the two prestigious Gold Medals, the Vietnamese team in the FC Online content was also honored to win the Silver Medal. These achievements have made an important contribution to helping the Vietnamese e-sports team top the Esports medal table at SEA Games 33, surpassing many other competitors in the region.

At the ceremony, Garena Vietnam awarded more than 1 billion VND as a source of practical encouragement and spiritual encouragement, showing appreciation for the efforts, dedication and achievements of Vietnamese e-sports teams at SEA Games 33.

With the Gold Medal achievement, each Lien Quan Mobile team athlete receives 50 million VND. Coach Pham Anh Tuan was honored with a reward of 100 million VND for his outstanding achievements in leading both men’s and women’s teams. At the same time, the FPT x Flash and One Star Esports teams were also awarded 100 million VND/team. With the Silver Medal achievement, each FC Online team athlete was awarded 30 million VND. The FC Online Vietnam team received 50 million VND.

At the end of the event, the athletes and their families also gave very sincere, touching and inspiring confessions to the fans, while also showing appreciation for the concerns and encouragement from state agencies and publishers.

Sharing his thoughts after winning the Gold Medal at SEA Games 33, player Nguyen Quoc Huy (Maris) said he was extremely proud and honored to be part of the Vietnam Sports Delegation competing in the Men’s Lien Quan Mobile team event at SEA Games 33 and receiving the Gold Medal. Quoc Huy affirmed that he will practice hard and be highly determined to conquer 4 championship trophies of Lien Quan’s domestic and international tournaments in 2026.

The celebration ceremony not only honors the achievements that have been achieved, but also continues the path of sustainable development of Vietnamese e-sports in the future, with the expectation that content such as Lien Quan Mobile and FC Online will continue to affirm their position in regional and international arenas.
