Accordingly, the two sides agreed to coordinate in developing the Audition subject in the national and regional competition system, including organizing competition at the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand in September. December 2025, implementing the recruitment and training of athletes, as well as promoting community movements in Vietnam. The event not only has professional significance in the field of eSports but also suggests a new direction: developing e-sports along with spreading Vietnamese cultural identity in young people’s lives.
The right direction of cultural strategy in eSports
Audition’s inclusion in the SEA Games 33 competition framework brings value beyond the sports framework. Audition is inherently a digital cultural phenomenon, associated with many generations of young Vietnamese people through music, fashion and a vibrant community of players. When a digital cultural product bearing Vietnam’s mark is represented in the regional arena, it is not only a recognition of technique and competition organization, but also an affirmation that the image of Vietnam can be strongly conveyed through the methods of the new era.

With this cooperation, eSports is not only developed in a professional direction, but also placed in a direct relationship with the cultural mission. Gamers are no longer just participants in competitions, but are seen as representatives of the image of Vietnamese youth – dynamic, creative and confident in integration.
Vietnamese culture is present in the digital space of young people
In the context of digitalization of life, culture no longer exists only in traditional institutions but is moving strongly into the online space. Young people form their perceptions and identities through the environments they interact with every day: social networks, music, movies and games. Therefore, if culture wants to continue to be alive, it must be present where young people are.

Details rich in Vietnamese culture in Audition.
Conveying Vietnamese culture through games creates a soft and effective method of reception. Stories, images and community spirit can be recreated in games in an intimate and unforced way. Players access cultural heritage not through lectures but through experience, emotions and direct participation. This is a form of cultural transformation suitable for a generation that emphasizes interaction and personal experience.
eSports has become an integration channel but not a dissolving channel
Bringing Audition to the SEA Games 33 arena means that Vietnam’s image is approached in an international context. Vietnamese youth are not only competing for achievements, but are participating in shaping the region’s perspective on Vietnamese digital culture. eSports here is both a communication channel and a means to confidently affirm Vietnam’s position and identity.
This journey shows that Vietnamese culture does not stop at preservation, but is being renewed, recreated and continued to live through modern means. Cultural identity is therefore not limited to traditional forms, but is expanded according to the creative flow of the youth.
Currently, the Vietnamese Audition team athletes are mentally ready to attend the departure ceremony of the Vietnam Sports Delegation. The event is to prepare for the upcoming SEA Games 33. The members showed great determination to bring the best results for the country.
Hope for the future Digital culture develops with eSports
The MOU signing event between VTC Intecom and VIRESA set out an important vision: building e-sports not only with the goal of competition, but also with the mission of spreading Vietnamese culture in the digital era. When Audition participates in the SEA Games, what is spread is not just talent or competition skills, but the image of Vietnam as youthful, confident and rich in identity.
Developing eSports is therefore not only about developing a creative industry, but also about developing Vietnamese people and culture in the era of integration. E-sports is not just a technical game, but is becoming a space to preserve and express Vietnamese identity in the language of the new generation.
