Vietnamese aspirations in every dance Audition at SEA Games 33
What’s special is that this is the first time in the history of Southeast Asia that Audition has become an official Esports performance sport and was awarded a separate medal at the regional arena. This journey of Audition, from a familiar entertainment game, has affirmed the professionalization of the subject and opened up great opportunities to spread Vietnamese identity.

The Vietnam Audition team includes six talented athletes, rigorously selected from domestic tournaments. They are heroes carrying the expectations of the whole community: VN_Elina (Le Thi Hoai Phuong), VN_Demo (Le Ngoc Truong Giang), VN_Hare (Roan Cong Thanh), VN_Linhh (To Y Linh), VN_Giyu (Nguyen Van Huy), and VN_NguyenNgoc (Nguyen Hong Ngoc).
At SEA Games 33, the team will compete in three main events: male individual, female individual and mixed male-female team. The direct opponents this time come from Thailand, the Philippines and Laos
Practice non-stop
Immediately after the launch ceremony, the athletes immediately switched to professional training mode in Hanoi. Even though the daily practice schedule is quite dense, the atmosphere and spirit of the players are always vibrant. Even though they were “drenched in sweat and their hands were tired,” their smiles and Audition spirit were always bright on their faces.
The training process is set up systematically and scientifically, focusing on individual technical training, team coordination, and especially analyzing the opponent’s playing style. Practice sessions last many hours, combining actual jump practice and video review to improve tactics.
To best prepare for the 33rd SEA Games taking place in Bangkok, the team had a dramatic international friendly match with the Thai Audition team on November 30 and achieved positive results. This outstanding progress has strengthened the confidence of the whole team before the conference

Spreading Vietnamese Culture through each digital dance
The Vietnam Audition team not only competes for medals but also carries the mission of promoting national identity. The official competition outfit at SEA Games 33 is specially designed: men are inspired by the tach shirt, women are stylized by the camisole and four-piece shirt, using the pink-blue color scheme symbolizing the Vietnamese lotus flower.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Hoang Viet – Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training – emphasized: each Audition athlete will be a “cultural ambassador”, contributing to spreading the image of Vietnamese people and culture to the region and the world.

In the long term, VTC is committed to continuing to upgrade Audition with more Vietnamese content, music and fashion, turning this game into an effective cultural bridge and a high-achieving subject that brings international medals to Vietnam.
