Vietnam won direct tickets to the League of Legends Finals at ENC 2026

32 teams will compete for national pride and the ENC gold medal in one of the biggest esports events in Riyadh from November 21 to 29, 2026.

Esports Foundation (EF) today confirmed the official lineup and list of direct ticket recipients for League of Legends at Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC), the first national team-based esports tournament to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 2 to 29, 2026.

A total of 112 teams representing 112 countries and territories have been officially registered for League of Legends at ENC 2026. Of these, 32 teams will participate in the ENC Finals, 16 countries and territories will receive direct invitations based on ENC Rankings 2026. Topping the list of candidates to win the League of Legends content at ENC 2026 is China, the team that owns a team of world-class players and three world champions including Tian, ​​JackeyLove and Flandre. This squad also brings together Bilibili Gaming’s trio of pillars, Bin, Knight and ON, who just won their third consecutive LPL championship as well as the 2026 First Stand title.

The fact that Korea is in the top seed group is not surprising. As the country with the most successful history in League of Legends, six players of this team have won a total of 16 world championships, of which Faker, the most successful player in the history of the sport, owns 6 titles. Accompanying him is his T1 teammate and EWC 2024 champion Keria and EWC 2025 champion and Gen.G jungler Canyon, alongside the trio Zeus, Gumayusi and Zeka from Hanwha Life Esports.

South Korea and China entered League of Legends at ENC as top contenders thanks to the international success of their players. However, many other teams are also aiming to create surprises and assert their names on the global arena.

For Vietnamese fans, the team winning direct tickets to attend the League of Legends Finals at ENC 2026 affirms Vietnam’s competitive position in the international League of Legends arena. Ranked fourth on ENC Rankings, Vietnam entered the tournament as one of the most highly rated teams, with a roster that featured familiar names like Kiaya, Eddie and Taki along with the presence of SofM as a reserve player. The team will aim to continue the success that Vietnam has achieved in the international arena and represent Vietnam to compete with the world’s leading teams.

Representing the United States is a super LCS squad that brings together LCS Spring 2026 champion Dhokla of LYON, Cloud9 duo Blaber and APA, breakthrough ADC Yeon from Team Liquid, and veteran support player Huhi of Sentinels, the team that won the right to attend EWC 2026. Europe has a series of notable national teams with many stars from the LEC. Denmark aims to make its mark with iconic players like Caps and Wunder, while Türkiye is led by G2 Esports’ BrokenBlade, and the Spanish team has MKOI star Elyoya.

However, the focus of attention will be the French team. Ranked third on ENC Rankings, this team brings together many excellent players with prominent names such as Hans Sama and SkewMond of G2 Esports, as well as the most highly rated prodigy in Europe, Caliste.

14 other teams also won the right to participate in the main round through online regional qualifiers taking place in Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Middle East/Africa, North America, South America and Southeast Asia/Oceania. In addition, a spot was awarded to the Saudi Arabian team, which won the Host Region Wildcard as the next highest performing representative from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.

To round out the entry list, there is still one Solidarity Wildcard spot available for a region underrepresented on the international stage. This participation will be announced at the end of August, after all ENC qualifiers have ended.

The League of Legends tournament at ENC will kick off on November 21 and end with the Grand Final on November 29. In the first phase, 24 teams will compete in the Play-In round, including teams ranked from 9 to 16 in the direct ticket group and 16 teams that qualify, played in a double round-robin format. The top two teams in each group will advance to the Main Group Stage. Here, they will face 8 seeded teams that received direct invitations in a round-robin format. The top two teams in each group will advance to the Playoffs round, where teams compete in a knockout format. The tournament will close with the Grand Final in a best-of-five format to determine the champion.
