Riot Games received criticism for League of Legends’ new “gacha” system

Riot Games will most likely “pay the price” for its gacha system
In the past, Riot Games launching a new skin line could be considered a small event worth celebrating for champions who received skins. However, in the past few years, Riot Games’ application of the “gacha” system in many different ways to sell skins has caused gamers to lose a lot of excitement every time a new skin is released.
A few days ago, Riot announced Sett’s new Trac Viet skin and there will likely be a gacha system to receive this skin.
It is important to know that with Shattered Arcane Jinx, many gamers are willing to “gacha” to receive this skin because this is a beloved character (especially after the movie Arcane). However, with Sett’s next Trac Viet skin, it is a completely different case when this character does not receive as much love as Jinx. If the quality of Sett’s Trac Viet skin is not good, Riot Games will likely seriously “lose revenue” when it launches and once again become the subject of satire in the League of Legends community.
