Vietnam won direct tickets to the League of Legends ENC 2026 Finals

The Vietnamese team officially won direct tickets to the Final Round of the content League of Legends in Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC 2026), becoming one of 16 teams specially qualified to participate thanks to their high rankings on the ENC Rankings 2026.

This is an important milestone, affirming Vietnam’s increasingly solid position in the arena League of Legends international.

+ Vietnam is in the top “seed” group

According to Esports Foundation (EF), a total of 112 countries and territories registered to participate in the subject League of Legends in ENC 2026. Only 32 teams will participate in the Final Round, of which 16 teams receive direct invitations based on ENC Rankings 2026.

Vietnam ranked fourth on the rankings, behind only China, South Korea and France.

Participating in the “seed” group helps Vietnam avoid having to compete in the regional qualifying round and has a great advantage on the journey to compete for medals at the tournament.

+ China and Korea are the two championship candidates

The two most highly rated teams at ENC 2026 continue to be China and Korea.

China brings a squad with many stars such as Bin, Tian, Knight, JackeyLove and ON, along with reserve player Flandre – names that have won many international titles and dominated the LPL arena.

Meanwhile, Korea possesses the most accomplished players in history League of Legends with Faker, Canyon, Zeus, Gumayusi, Keria and Zeka. Faker alone owns six world championships, helping Korea become the number one candidate for the championship.

In addition, France also emerged as a formidable force when it brought together Hans Sama, SkewMond and young talent Caliste.

+ 32 teams will compete in Riyadh

Besides the 16 directly invited teams, there are also:

14 teams qualified for the regional qualifiers.
1 slot is for host country Saudi Arabia.
1 Solidarity Wildcard slot will be announced at the end of August 2026.

Middle East/Africa: Algeria, Tunisia

+ Competition format ENC 2026

Tournament League of Legends in ENC 2026 takes place from November 21 to 29 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The format includes three stages:

Play-In round with 24 teams (8 seeded teams from groups 9–16 and 16 qualifying teams), competing in a double round robin.
Group Stage, where the 8 teams that advance through the Play-In meet the 8 highest seeded teams in a round robin format.
Knockout Playoffs round, ending with the Grand Final in BO5 format.

Winning direct tickets to the Final Round not only reflects Vietnam’s high ranking on ENC Rankings, but also shows the stable development of the economy. League of Legends home country for many years.

With experienced players like Kiaya, Eddie and Taki, and the presence of SofM as a reserve, the Vietnamese team is expected to make a mark against powerhouses like China, Korea or France, thereby aiming for high results at the first Esports Nations Cup.
