#1. Mylta Power
Mylta Power is one of the famous places in Erangel. A large amount of equipment is provided here for players, even enough for a 4-person Squad.
Just heard the name, you probably already know, Mylta Power is the place that provides energy for the entire map. And the energy mentioned here is nuclear energy.
But did you know that Mylta Power was inspired by a real place in real life, and it’s called Chernobyl. It was once the place where the most terrible nuclear accident in the world took place.
This is an atomic nuclear power plant located in Ukraine. At 1:23 a.m. local time, April 26, 1986, one of the plant’s four nuclear reactors exploded, causing the worst nuclear disaster in history.
This disaster killed 93,000 people and turned a large area of 30 square kilometers from the center of the explosion into a death zone due to heavy radiation contamination.
And to make it clearer, we can look at the shape of the building and also guess the similarity of these two locations.
And one more detail is that after leaving Mylta Power, you will go to a forest called Red Forest, which is also a real place in real life.
It is also called Red Forest, formerly this was a lush green forest surrounding the Chernobyl power plant. But after the disaster happened, the whole forest gradually died and turned red due to heavy radiation contamination.
#2. Castle
This is a small area on the Vikendi map, but has complex terrain and many hiding places, so it is very suitable for close-range combat.
Especially with its location right in the center of the map, it is very convenient for running. So Castle can be a hot spot on the Vikendi map, and the inspiration for the publishers to create this building is from the Trakai island castle.
At first glance, you can easily see the similarities between these two architectures. Both are located independently on a small island and occupy most of the island’s area, surrounded by water. In particular, in the center there is a Catholic church that is very similar to the two locations.
#3. Ruin
Next is the Ruin Sanctuary in Map Sanhok, this is one of the best pick-up areas on the Map, but at the same time this is also the door to hell for inexperienced players.
Looking at the architecture, you probably immediately think of ruins in Maya – South America. But no, the ancient Ruin temple was inspired by a real architecture in Asia.
That is the ancient Shite – Thaung temple complex located in Myanmar. Stepping into the ancient city of Mrauk U, you will immediately encounter the ancient temple here, built of stone dating back hundreds of years. The Ruin Sanctuary in Sanhok map and Shite – Thaung temple are 90% similar in structure.
The architecture of both is divided into 3 main parts, the wide tower body is solidly built of stone on the ground and connected to part 2 of the temple by a staircase lined with monolithic stones.
On the 4 tops of the 2nd tower are placed 4 bells carved from very sophisticated monolithic stone. And finally, the top of the tower also has a bell.
In particular, the tower has skylights to get light, exactly like the boxes in the second part of the Sanhok map that we often fly directly into.
#4. Cosmodrome
Cosmodrome is one of the famous places in Pubg’s Vikendi map. At the Cosmodrome, there are countless good items, there can be enough items for all 10 squads.
Here, there are many beautiful places to hide and observe opponents. If you lie down, it will be more difficult to be detected because of the high and rugged terrain.
If you intend to jump in here, prepare yourself in advance, you will definitely shoot each other loudly.
But this location is also inspired by a real location located in Kazakhstan, called Baikonur Cosmodrome. We can also see similarities such as giant headlights, launch pads and giant rockets.
Baikonur Cosmodrome is the launch site of the spacecraft that brought Yuri Gagarin into space. And making him the first person to see Earth from the air.
#5. Some other locations in the game
In addition to the names I just mentioned above, there are other locations that many players say are inspired by reality as follows.
Sosnovka Military Base (Sosnovka Military Base)
This is a very familiar jumping location for young men with big hands on the Erangel map.
There is an extremely abundant amount of equipment and guns here, with complex, easy-to-hide terrain that is always the premise for close-range combat. But did you know that this place was inspired by the Duga Military Area in Russia.
Novorepnoye Port – Novorossiysk Port
This is also one of the locations with an abundant and very hot amount of equipment in Erangel. But it is inspired by the port Novorossiysk of beautiful Russia.
You can see the similarities..
In addition, there are also many other locations.
#6. Conclusion
