Uses of spells in Minecraft (Part 1)

As you all know, the Minecraft world is a large world with countless items to serve survival. And all of those items have their own uses.

But to make those items better and more functional, you should enchant them. There will be many types of enchantments for items in the game, so I will divide into two articles about all types of enchantments and their uses in Minecraft.

Today I will present to you about 13 types of spells and their functions. I will leave the rest for the next article. And this is my article.

#1. What is witchcraft?

Enchantment, also known as Enchant, is a way to upgrade objects, making them more versatile and stronger than before. The magic method is not too complicated.

You just need an anvil, an Enchant book and the object to be enchanted. You probably already know about the objects and the anvil, and there are probably some books you don’t know about.

If you don’t know, these are books that have also been Enchanted with the Enchant table and green crystal. Their use is to force (enchant) other objects. There are many types of magic books, so now I will tell you more about them.

#2. Types of spells and their uses

As you know, all types of blessings depend on Enchant books. Below are some types of books used to Enchant and their functions.

Efficiency the old name is Efficiency. You need to have an Efficiency type book to be able to cast spells. This type of enchantment only applies to trophies, shovels, hoes, and axes. Its use is to increase productivity when digging and help you dig faster than usual.

Silk Touch: This type can also only be applied to items such as trophies, shovels, and axes. Their use is to help you destroy and collect intact blocks such as: ice, glass, ore (all types), Ender chests, pure stone, glowing stone, bookcases,… however blocks like cakes cream, grass, rice, cannot be used this way.

Luck Of The Sea aka Luck of the sea. The enchantment only applies to fishing rods. They help you increase the rate of catching rare items by 2%, and also reduce the rate of catching trash, bones, and sticks by 2% per level. Besides, each level you can also reduce your fishing time by 5 seconds.

Protection is a type of enchantment applied to armor. They will help you reduce the damage you take quite a bit.

Fire Protection is also a type of blessing that only applies to armor. They will help you gain 15% more fire resistance based on champion level.

Protection from falling damage (Feather Falling) is a type of enchantment for Shoes. Its use is to help you when falling from a certain height will have a slower falling speed and help you avoid a significant amount of damage. They also help you reduce damage when using Ender gems.

Blast Protection Applies to armor sets. They will help you reduce a large amount of damage from explosions from TNT or crepper, etc. In addition, they will also help you reduce the amount of knockback per level from those explosions by 15%.

Projectile Protection Use for your armor. It will have the effect of helping you reduce a large amount of damage from fired objects such as skeletions, village robbers, fire demons, hell ghosts,…

Respiration Used to enchant your hats. Its main function is to help you breathe underwater longer. And breathing time will increase by 15 seconds with each level. It also helps you see clearly underwater.

Aqua Affinity Also known as water pressure. It is used on hats. Its use is to help you dig 5 times faster than your digging speed when underwater with normal water.

Thorns is a type of enchantment that makes your armor seem like it has spikes. All enemies that damage you will receive the same amount of damage in return.

Depth Strider Used to enchant shoes. When wearing these enchanted shoes, you can walk quickly underwater. Specifically, each level of enchantment will help you reduce water resistance by 1/3. At level 3 of the spell, you can move normally in water as you would on land.

Frost Ealker Used for shoes. Its effect is to help you freeze everything you pass through (especially water). In addition, it can help you neutralize damage caused by lava blocks.
