First, you need to prepare yourself 3 iron blocks, 4 iron ingots, and 1 crafting certificate.

So it’s better to use trophies to collect them faster, specifically the digging speed of trophies is as follows: Wooden trophies take 3.75 seconds, stone trophies take 1.9 seconds, iron trophies take 1.25 seconds , the diamond trophy takes 0.95 seconds, the fastest is the gold trophy which only takes 0.65 seconds.

#1. Fix things

As you know, the main use of the anvil is to repair damaged items. The specific repair mechanism of the anvil is as follows: First, you must prepare an anvil => Then proceed to repair in two ways.

• The first way is to use two items of the same type that are both equally damaged, then placing them in an anvil will create a new item that is 5% more durable than the two old items.
• The second way is to place the object that needs repair and a few iron or gold ingots into the anvil, eventually it will create a new item with the highest durability.

#2. Upgrade items

The second most common use is for pressing things. You can upgrade items to a higher level by using the anvil.

To upgrade your item to a higher level, you must first use Enchant books and place them in the anvil with the item you want to upgrade.

This feature also applies when you place two identical items in the anvil. Items after upgrading will have higher stats than before. Note that when upgrading items, you must have the required amount of experience.

#3. Name

The next most common use is to name objects and animals in the game.

You can name each item you like, especially your pet mobs to make a difference. Giving them unique names helps you easily distinguish them from other objects and animals.

Naming objects is quite simple. You just need to put them in the anvil => and then click on the input bar above and change as you like.

As for mobs, it’s a little more complicated. First, you have to prepare yourself a name => Then do the same with changing on objects.

Finally, take those cards and assign them to the mobs you want to rename. In addition, you can name your favorite mobs by renaming them while they are still in the egg, so when they hatch they will have a name without having to use name tags anymore.

Attention: Any animal or object that has a name tag that says Rinner Bone will have its head pressed to the ground. Very interesting, right?

III. Some other applications of the anvil

The anvil has extremely high hardness so it is very difficult to break them. You can test their hardness by destroying them with TNT.

Of course it won’t be destroyed by TNT, but if dropped a lot or used too much the anvil will crack and possibly even break.

An anvil is a free mass such as sand and gravel. They will fall if there is no support. When they fall, they come with damaging effects. Depending on the height they fall, they have different levels of damage. They can kill you.

The anvil can prevent TNT from exploding. They don’t completely stop the TNT from exploding, but if you use an anvil on top of the TNT and then detonate it, the damage from the TNT when it explodes will be zero. This application will be the opposite when underwater.

The chest will still be open with the anvil on top. The anvil is one of the few objects that can be placed on a chest and still open, similar to a field block.
