How Wayground AI works

There are 6 ways you can create tests/quiz with Wayground AI from a variety of content types:

• From the documentation: Create questions from study materials (slideshow or text) and PDF, PPTX, DOC, DOCX, PNG, JPG files. Wayground AI will scan the content and create appropriate questions.
• From command: Type a command or paste text, and Wayground AI will generate questions based on what people type.
• From the website: Paste a link to a website, AI will automatically process the content and create a quiz from it.
• From YouTube video: Search or paste a YouTube video URL, Wayground AI will generate questions related to the video content.
• Upload a photo: Use the Wayground app on your phone to take or upload photos of documents, AI will convert them into questions for the test/quiz.

After Wayground AI finishes creating a test, users can edit the question content, change the question format, add or delete answer options and insert images, videos, sounds,… depending on their wishes to complete the test.

How to create quizzes with Wayground AI

Create questions from documents

• Click Create
• Select Assessment or Quiz
• Select Generate with AI
• Select Document
• Click Upload from Device or Import from Drive to download PDF, PPT, PPTX, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG documents. Users can also drag-and-drop files into the window to upload.

Once the document is uploaded:

• Choose number of questions, subject, grade level, language
• If you want students to be able to read documents while doing homework, turn on the option Allow students to read this document while answering
• Press Generate Quiz
• Once created, anyone can Customize the quiz then press Publish to save and share with students or assign homework

There are a few things people should keep in mind when uploading files to Wayground AI:

• Only 1 file can be downloaded at a time
• Supported formats: PDF, PPT, PPTX, DOC, DOCX, JPG, PNG
• Should use files with few tables/images (AI processes text better)
• Only the first 16,000 characters of the file are processed

Create a question by entering a command

• Click Create
• Select Assessment or Quiz
• Select Generate with AI
• Select Text/Prompt
• Enter command or paste the content into the text box
• Adjust settings such as: output language, number of questions, grade level, subject, assessment standards, difficulty level
• Press Continue
• Enter or Select sub topic (subtopic)
• Press Generate quiz
