Extremely stable battery, record smooth performance!
The iOS 26.3 RC update brings a series of important performance improvements and camera bug fixes to help iPhone 17 operate smoother.
Apple has just officially released iOS 26.3 RC (Release Candidate) for developers and beta testers. This is considered the final build, almost identical to the official version that will soon reach global users early next week.
With a capacity of up to 8.52 GB on iPhone 17 Pro Max, this update not only brings stability but also completely solves outstanding problems from previous versions.
Extremely smooth performance and impressive RAM management
The first feeling when experiencing iOS 26.3 RC is the amazing smoothness. Every swipe, open application or multitasking on the ProMotion screen is extremely fluid.
Notably, Apple has significantly improved RAM management, helping heavy applications no longer have to be reloaded frequently when switching back and forth.
Besides, annoying errors such as keyboard lag or icon display error in dark mode (Dark Mode) have been completely fixed.
Benchmark scores on the iPhone 17 series also recorded impressive numbers, showing that Apple has optimized the hardware power very well for this software version.

New features first appeared on iOS 26.3
Although the release notes only mention bug fixes, iOS 26.3 RC actually contains many interesting changes. One of the most notable features is the “Switch to Android” section added deep into the system settings.
This feature allows users to easily transfer data, including electronic SIMs, to Android devices via a very convenient QR code.
In addition, Apple also refreshed the wallpaper settings area by separating the Weather and Astronomy sections. Users now also have the option to control specific location access for weather wallpapers, helping to optimize privacy while ensuring the feature works correctly. For music fans, the Replay 2026 list has also officially arrived on Apple Music right in this update.
Camera errors are fixed and the device temperature is better optimized
The good news for those who regularly take photos is that the blue tint and unstable white balance errors on the camera have been thoroughly resolved. The problem of the camera application freezing when using the flash also no longer appears.
Regarding temperature, during Benchmark and high-intensity use, the device maintains a fairly cool temperature (about 27°C), with no overheating phenomenon like some previous beta versions.
Regarding battery life, although it takes a few more days for the system to be completely stable, initial records show that iOS 26.3 RC consumes energy very evenly, with no unusual battery drain phenomenon.
For iFans who are using older iPhone models such as iPhone 15 or 16, this update is also reported to bring stability and very good battery life.
According to the roadmap, the official iOS 26.3 version is expected to be widely released next Monday or Tuesday. This will be an important stepping stone before Apple launches iOS 26.4 with the appearance of Siri 2.0 integrating the powerful Gemini AI model.
