Toan Tai showgame exclusively for students in grades 4 and 5: Students participate in a 30-minute showgame with 3 rounds in the form of a knockout competition on the Poinsettia system monitored and recorded via Zoom.

The Toan Tai Poinsettia Contest for the 2025 – 2026 school year was officially held starting from September 5, 2025 to April 25, 2026. This is an online educational playground for elementary school students, from grades 1 to 5, with English – Math – Vietnamese exam subjects, belonging to the Trang Nguyen Education system. Students have the right to freely register and participate in competitions to demonstrate their ability to absorb lessons, practice and develop their linguistic thinking and logical calculation.
Simulating the old Poinsettia exam, students who achieve high results in Toan Tai Poinsettia will receive awards (Poinsettia, Label, Tham Hoa, Hoang Giap, Doctor).
Teachers will select students to take the higher level exam after they complete the free exam round. Rules of the Toan Tai Poinsettia contest for the 2025 – 2026 school year
The contest consists of 2 parts: Toan Tai Online Poinsettia and Toan Tai Arena.
1. Poinsettia Toan Tai Online
- Object: Students from grades 1 to 5 nationwide, join for free.
- How to participate:
- Each student can only use one account at trangnguyen.edu.vn.
- Students who do not have an account need to register fully and accurately with personal information (full name, school, locality, parent/teacher phone number…).
- Exam format:
- Take the test online using a computer, not a phone/tablet.
- Diverse questions: multiple choice, fill in words, combine answers, drag and drop, sort…
- Structure: Each round includes 30 questions, takes 30 minutes, maximum 300 points.
2. Toan Tai Arena
- Object: Students in grades 4 and 5 have registered for the Comprehensive Comprehensive course or Total Talent – School Competition course.
- How to participate: Use the registered account, meet the exam conditions and do the test online above trangnguyen.edu.vn below BTC monitoring via Zoom.
- Competition round structure by month:
- Part 1 – Ba Gang Bag: Use the mouse to control words with correct spelling and correct calculation. 50% of candidates with the highest scores advance to round 2 (percentage subject to change).
- Part 2 – Math Farm: Answer the math to collect farm items. Complete “BINGO” (5 items in a horizontal/vertical/diagonal row) as quickly as possible, the higher the score. 40% of candidates with the highest scores advance to round 3.
- Part 3 – Let’s Shine: Answer 5 multiple-choice questions from many subjects, each worth 10 points.
- The structure of the Final Round will be announced in detail later by the Organizing Committee.
Instructions for entering the Trang Nguyen Toan Tai exam
Step 1: Log in to Trang Nguyen Toan Tai account, hover over account name and choose Enter the exam.
Step 2: In List of examsclick a test is availablefor example K4. Vietnamese – Free round 1 (green activation icon).
Step 3: Read everything carefully Examination regulations To understand the rules of the contest. Then, check the box I agree with the Examination Regulations and press the button I agree.
Step 4: Start taking the multiple choice testchoose only 1 correct answer from the 4 answers provided. Students need to answer all 30 questions within 30 minutes. Questions with selected answers will be blue. To move to any question, students just need to click on that question number.
Prepare for the Toan Tai Poinsettia competition
- Before the exam, the exam committee checks whether the internet connection can access the website trangnguyen.edu.vn or not?
- The computer needs to install the Vietnamese typing board, UniKey software. Unicode code table (built-in Unicode) – Telex typing method.
- Website: trangnguyen.edu.vn is best used with Google Chrome browser.
- If a student is taking the exam and the computer requests re-access or does not recognize the exam results and retake the exam, the error may be due to the browser or the network connection is not guaranteed, the teacher will make a record and allow the student to retake the exam.
