Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 caused controversy when leaks showed that the upcoming free 4-star characters were outdated and lacking in appeal.

HoYoverse is about to give away a 4-star character for free in the Honkai: Star Rail 3.1 update, but the leaked list is causing intense “frowns” in the community. According to information from leaker HomDGCat shared on Reddit, gamers will be able to choose 1 of 4 characters: Qingque, Pela, Serval and Asta.

HoYoverse has revealed that there will be a series of new Explorer Missions from version 3.0 to 3.7, along with the appearance of “genuine” characters like Tribbie and Mydei in version 3.1.
