How to play Soul’s Remnant for beginners
Soul’s Remnant lis an attractive MMORPG game on Steam. Soul’s Remnant lets players explore and explore everything for themselves. However, if you want an easier start, please refer to it Instructions for playing Soul’s Remnant hereafter.
Outskirt
A magical barrier is restricting you to the area right next to the starting point (Spawn). Before doing anything else, you should talk to the Quest Master (the quest giver) – the character standing just to the right of the large fire at the starting point. Open the Quest Board and receive the series of leveling quests that NPCs have for you!
To cross this barrier and explore the rest of the world, go to the Northwest area of the Outskirts (Outskirts Northwest) and accept the quest from the Shepherd! The first quest requires you to be level 10; This will be easier if you follow the quest chain you received from the Quest Master.
After reaching level 10, return to the Shepherd to receive the Normal Dungeon Pass and a new quest that requires you to complete the Slime Garden Dungeon on Normal difficulty.
You can find the entrance to the Slime Garden dungeon by pressing the Up button when standing in front of the sign in the Northwest area of the suburbs – which is also the map where Shepherd is standing!
After completing the dungeon, your quest will be complete! Let’s return to see Shepherd in the Northwest area of the suburbs; Now you can freely explore and experience everything there is in the game Soul’s Remnant.
Search on the map
After opening the world map (M key), if you look in the upper right corner of the map window you will see a very useful search bar!
Enter the name of a monster or collection material and press the key Enterthe names of all maps containing the object you searched for will appear in the sidebar.
After clicking on one of those names, all information about the corresponding map will appear right in that sidebar. Additionally, unless it is a hidden map (i.e. a map that can only be accessed via an invisible portal and is not visible on the world map), the player’s perspective on the world map will automatically shift to the center of the area just searched.
Besides, when you hover over the name of a collection material displayed in the sidebar, you will see the basic spawn rate of that material every time you use the gathering skill and start the corresponding minigame.
Skills and how to use index points
The skill and stat mechanics in Soul’s Remnant are different from most other MMO games. Each skill will level itself up through use. Stat points will determine the type of damage you deal. Understanding both of these factors from the beginning will help you avoid wasting time “plowing” in vain.
Soul’Remmant players get four free skills to start with: Slash, Magic Burst, Ninja Throw, and Nova. Choose the skill that matches your stat development direction:
- Slash is for close combat
- Ninja Throw is for long-range attacks
- Magic Burst and Nova belong to the magic system.
This initial choice is not permanently fixed. Drag skills to the toolbar so they can be used in combat.
Each active skill has its own experience bar (EXP). Skills are leveled up through use; therefore, skills that are used frequently will level up faster than skills that are ignored, and each skill develops independently. Larger upgrades will require essences dropped by monsters. Focus on one or two skills from the start so they reach high levels quickly.
Where do skill quintessence come from?
Monsters will drop essences needed to upgrade skills. The higher the skill level, the more elites are needed. Keep the essences you find because they are necessary for every skill upgrade.
What effects do the six types of indicators have?
STR (Strength) increases melee damage, DEX (Dexterity) increases ranged damage, and INT (Intelligence) increases magic damage. SPR (Spirit) increases Faith stat and maximum MP (Energy). CON (Constitution) increases HP (Health), defense, and HP recovery speed, while LUK (Luck) increases critical strike rate (crit). Allocate your starting points to the stat corresponding to your chosen skill, as that determines the amount of damage you deal in the early game.
Can index points be reset?
Have. Resetting stat points is free until level 10; After this level, players will have to pay a small fee using in-game currency. Take advantage of this free period to test out different point allocations without breaking the bank. Once you leave the starting area, changes will cost you, so experiment early.
