How to play DTCL High Tech squad season 14
High Tech is an exciting new clan in the Teamfight Tactics Season 14 lineup, featuring a mechanism to use special items only for generals of this system.
The High-Tech squad offers flexible gameplay, combining resistance and strong damage thanks to buffs plus extra health and attack speed. No need for other clans, High Tech can completely take care of its own resistance and damage, just add 1-2 other champions and you have a good team to climb the rank.
In this article, we will learn how to build an effective High-Tech squad, from choosing champions, equipment, to playing strategies.
Characteristics of the Clan
The High-Tech clan in DTCL Season 14 allows players to equip special items for champions of this system. These items not only increase base power, but also stack Health and Attack Speed based on the number of Hi-Tech champions activated.
- 3 High Tech: 30 Health, 2% Attack Speed + first 1 High Tech item
- 5 High Tech: 110 Health, 3% Attack Speed + second High Tech item
- 7 High Tech: 200 Health, 7% Attack Speed + third High Tech item
- 10 High Tech: 500 Health, 40% Attack Speed + all High Tech items
Generals of the High-Tech clan include:
- Jax (High Tech x Brave)
- Jhin (High Tech x Gunner x Electromechanical)
- Mordekaiser (High Tech x Fighter x Expert)
- Naafiri (High Tech x AMP)
- Sejuani (High Technology x Courage)
- Varus (High Tech x Executioner)
- Zeri (High Tech x Cross Strike)
How to build a High-Tech squad
To maximize the power of the High Tech clan, you should aim to activate at least 5 or 7 High Techs to receive special items and significant buffs. Below is the basic lineup that you can refer to:
Team composition:
- Tank General: Jax, Sejuani
- General Carry: Jhin, Varus, Zeri
- Support General: Mordekaiser, Naafiri
Characteristic
This lineup focuses on the balance between tank champions’ resistance (Jax, Sejuani) and heavy damage from carries (Jhin, Varus, Zeri). Mordekaiser and Naafiri play support roles, both dealing damage and providing additional effects to teammates.
Choose champions and arrange positions
Top (Tank)
- Jax: As Courageous, Jax is an excellent tank champion, capable of both dealing damage and protecting the team at the beginning of the game, which you should pick up immediately if you see him appear a lot.
- Sejuani: Also belonging to the Brave group, Sejuani brings the ability to control a wide area, slow down enemies and protect carries behind and is a useful card in the late game.
- Mordekaiser: As both a Fighter and an Expert, Mordekaiser can withstand attacks well and deal significant damage.
Carry
- Jin: As ADC x Electromechanical, Jhin deals powerful physical and magical damage from a distance.
- Varus: As an Executioner, Varus specializes in finishing off enemies with low health.
- Zeri: Chain Strike helps Zeri attack quickly and continuously, very suitable for High-Tech items that increase attack speed. Or just buff more damage if you have reached the full High Tech or Link Strike mark. See more standard Zeri DTCL season 14 clothes.
Support
- Naafiri: AMP supports the squad by enhancing effects and secondary damage.
Situate:
Place Jax, Mordekaiser and Sejuani in the front row to take damage. Jhin, Varus, and Zeri should be in the back row to maximize damage potential. Naafiri can stand in the middle to support both lines.
Build items for High-Tech generals
Choosing the right equipment, especially taking advantage of High-Tech items, is an important factor for the squad to maximize its strength. Below are equipment suggestions for each champion:
- Sejuani, Jax: Thorn Armor, Warmog Blood Armor, Dragon Claw, Stone Armor Beast, Fire Armor, Adaptive Helmet.
- Jhin, Zeri: Infinity Sword, Blue Bow, Giant Slayer, Death Sword, Rage Blade.
- Varus: Guinsoo’s Rageblade, Hand of Justice, Gem Gauntlet, Angel’s Scepter, Nashor’s Fang.
- Mordekaiser: Cloak of Darkness, Hand of Justice and tank items like Sejuani and Jax are fine.
- Naafiri: Shojin Spear, Necromancer’s Cloak, Blood Sword, Sterak’s Claw, Hand of Justice, Colossal Power.
Besides the equipment above, don’t forget to equip High-Tech items for champions to take advantage of the Blood and Attack Speed buffs from the clan.
Early game
Focus on finding low-cost High Tech champions like Jax, Naafiri, and Jhin. The main thing is to click on 3 High Techs and receive the first High Tech item. If you intend to roll for Jhin, don’t spend money to level up, keep the money to roll for Jhin later, it’s okay to have a losing streak. On the contrary, if you want to find Zeri or Varus, go to level 4 in round 3-1.
Mid-match
Find Mordekaiser and Varus and add them to the team to increase 5 High Tech. If you roll Jhin to 3 stars, stop at level 6 and slowroll him for over 50 gold. Assemble items for Jhin, he can pawn items for Zeri, so if you upgrade Zeri easily at the end of the game, use the Magnet to remove items, level 7 when you have reached 3 stars for Jhin.
End of Battle
Completing 7 High Tech is a milestone that you can easily achieve. If you can reach 9 and find the High Tech Seal, it is possible for you to reach 10 High Tech. However, finding 10 High Technologies is very difficult. So stop at 7 CNC and take good care of the generals in your team, and level up Zeri at the end of the game.
Since High Tech relies heavily on special items, make it a priority to collect them early. In addition, pay attention to the opponent’s formation to arrange champions properly to avoid being countered.
The High-Tech squad in DTCL Season 14 is a potential choice with unique gameplay thanks to special items and powerful buffs. And especially High Tech has a full range of tank and damage-dealing generals, so you only need to gather enough CNC without having to rely heavily on generals in other clans.
If you know how to build and deploy a reasonable strategy, you can completely climb rank effectively with this squad. Hopefully this article has provided you with an overview and useful tips to spin this card more effectively.
