In Blox Fruits, there are many types of fishing rods and baits that players can own to catch rare fish species. People can get better fishing rods and bait by talking to one of the three Angler NPCs scattered across all three seas of Blox Fruits. How to get a fishing rod in Blox Fruits
To start fishing, players need a fishing rod in the game. Fishing rods can be found at three locations:
- Frozen Village’s dock in Sea 1.
- Kingdom of Rose Island in Sea 2.
- Port Town Island in Sea 3.
After arriving at one of these locations, follow these simple steps to get the fishing rod in Blox Fruits:
- Go to the wharf or dock area of any of the above locations.
- When you find the Fisherman NPC, interact with him to unlock the fishing rod in Blox Fruits.

How to buy fishing bait in Blox Fruits
When unlocking the fishing rod, players will receive some free bait, but usually not enough for long-term use. People can easily buy more bait by interacting with the Fisherman NPC.
To buy more bait in Blox Fruits:
- Click Shop in the dialog with Fisherman.
- Select Basic Bait and press Craft.
- This action will cost some Beli to gain 10 basic bait.

Just like fishing rods, there are many different types of bait for players to use in fishing activities. Everyone will receive 1x Basic Bait for free when talking to NPC Fisherman for the first time. After that, fishing bait will have to be purchased from NPC Fisherman or NPC Angler.

Note when unlocking fishing rods and bait in Blox Fruits
Rod Mastery and Fishing Level are both important indicators, but if you want to upgrade your fishing rod and unlock new bait, focus on completing the NPC Angler’s quest.
Missions do not stack between seas. This means that if the player completes the NPC Angler’s quest in the Main World, the item will only be unlocked at that NPC, not applicable to NPCs in other seas. Therefore, players need to farm all three NPC Anglers to have the strongest Rod and Bait.
After completing a mission, gamers will have to wait 15 minutes to receive a new mission from NPC Angler. In the meantime, focus on upgrading Rod Mastery and Fishing Level.
