Goblins – Goblins
In YAPYAP, goblins are agile and weak monsters when appearing individually, but they become dangerous if traveling in large groups or carrying weapons in the later stages of the tower. The real threat comes from overwhelming you in tight spaces, where movement is limited and damage accumulates quickly.
To deal with Goblins, you need to position yourself properly instead of just focusing on dealing damage. The Wind Wand is extremely effective in pushing them away and buying time to escape. Piss-Yuk is great for earning points because each hit gives points without killing them instantly. Always keep an escape route open and never let yourself be cornered.
Guards – Guards
Guards are red armored characters that deal a lot of damage, capable of killing you in just two hits. Although they move slowly and have poor wayfinding abilities, a small mistake near them can lead to death, especially if the noise from your microphone suddenly attracts their attention.
The safest way to deal with Guards is to interact indirectly. Shooting down their helmet will help you score points, then retreat immediately. They cannot climb, so higher positions and obstacles are your best defense. Duplico spells can create distractions, allowing you to move or escape without attracting direct attention.
The Eye – The eye
The Eye is a slow-moving monster that acts as a turret, firing lasers that deal serious long-range damage. Although it doesn’t move, it often appears in areas that put you at a disadvantage.
Attacking out of sight is the only effective way to deal with it. Walls, columns, and corners completely neutralize its attacks. The real danger comes from lack of vision, as the Eye can distract you long enough for other monsters to approach. Remember to always clear the escape route before dealing with it.
The Slime – Mucus
The slime monster is a slow-moving jelly-like cube that rarely kills you directly. But it can be dangerous because it blocks your path, such as stairs and narrow hallways. Don’t consider the Slime Monster harmless. If it blocks your retreat while other enemies are active, it can certainly kill you. Always plan your moves so that YayYay’s The Slime is never between you and the exit, especially in the later stages of the game.
Time Ghost – Ghost of time
The Time Wraith is not a traditional monster but a “safe” type of monster. It appears automatically when the stage’s countdown timer reaches zero, then immediately kills you and any other players currently on the map.
There is no way to fight or escape the Time Phantom. The only way you can deal with it is to escape before time runs out. Always keep an eye on the clock and prioritize getting to safety or completing the objective before time runs out.
