How to confirm marital status online on VNeID

Step 1: Download or update the VNeID application to the latest version via Google Play/App Store, or click the button Download hereafter.

Step 2: Log in to the application with an active level 2 identity account. Then, access the tab Document wallet.

Touch the red notification line You currently have 1 information waiting for integration confirmation. Visit to confirm.

Step 3: At page Confirm information integrationclick Marital status. Touch integration information has not been confirmed.

Step 4: Check the information again (full name of spouse, marriage certificate number, date of marriage registration and place of marriage registration). If the information is correct, check the box Accurate information, integrated Paper Wallet and press the button Confirm.

Step 5: A message confirming successful information integration will appear. Press in Come back to return to the application home page.

After the system successfully authenticates the information, the user only needs to access the item Document wallet > Marital status > enter passcode to check your marital status.

By allowing online confirmation of marital status, from 2025, when registering marriage, people will not need to submit a Certificate of Marital Status. The civil status registration agency will look up information about the marital status of the person requesting marriage registration on the Provincial Administrative Procedures Information System through connection with the Electronic Civil Status Database and the National Population Database.
