How to confirm identity and authenticate Facebook account

How to authenticate Facebook account
Facebook account authentication requires users to provide information about their full name, date of birth and mobile phone number in Vietnam (or personal identification number for the purpose of running ads about social issues, election or politics). To authenticate your Facebook account, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Open the Facebook mobile app and access the tab Menu in the bottom right corner. Click Settings & privacyselect Setting.
Step 2: In the Account Center section, select Personal information.
Step 3: Click Personal information in Account Settings.
Step 4: Touch Contact informationadditional Vietnamese email and phone number to authenticate your Facebook account.
How to confirm identity on Facebook
On the computer
Step 1: Go to www.facebook.com/id, enter your Facebook account password and click Begin Confirm your identity, then select Run ads about social issues, elections or politics.
Step 2: Select country want to request authorization and click Begin.
Step 3: Set up 2-factor authentication (can skip this step if already set).
Step 4: In the Protect your account with 2-factor authentication section, click Continue.
Step 5: Select a security method, press Next and follow the steps to complete the setup process.
Step 6: Enter the confirmation code sent to the phone number and clicked Continue.
Step 7: Select how to confirm your identity and press Next.
Step 8: Select the type of identification document that you want to use as a passport, driver’s license, identity card, etc. After selecting, click Next.
Step 9: Click or drag and drop photos of the type of ID you choose.
All uploaded photos must be in JPG or PNG file format and less than 20 MB in size. The address on the photo ID does not necessarily match the current mailing address.
Step 10: After successfully uploading the photo, click Send.
Step 11: After completing all the steps, click Finish and wait for Facebook approval.
On mobile through the Facebook application
Users need to have the Facebook app version 225 or higher installed on their Android or iOS phone to be able to complete the identity verification process for account protection purposes or to run ads about social issues, elections or politics.
Step 1: From menu Personal information To add email and phone number, select Confirm identity.
Step 2: Select country yourself live on the list and click Next. Then confirm Yes, continue.
Step 3: Set up 2-factor authentication (You can skip this step if already set). In the Protect your account with 2-factor authentication section, click Next.
Step 4: Choose a security method and follow the steps to complete the setup process.
Step 5: Enter the confirmation codeclick Next.
Step 6: Select the type of identification document that you want to use, then upload photos of the selected identification document.
Step 7: Submit a photo of your ID and wait for Facebook approval.
