How to build DTCL Lien Kich, Lien Kich season 14 squad
Lien Kiem is an important DTCL clan in this season 14, providing 10% attack speed for the entire team and additional cumulative attack speed for champions of this clan, up to 10 times. The level of attack speed increased each time depends on the number of Lien Strike champions.
Even though the number of generals is small, because the combination is easy, sometimes you just need to gather a full row of seasoned tanks and high-priced Lien Kiem generals like Zeri TFT season 14 or at least Draven. If you need help playing Lien Kiem, see below.

Build Lien Kiem TFT squad season 14
Early game
Start with Kindred and Kog’Maw, add tankers like Vi, Rhaast, Leona, Skarner to get Tien Phong. The goal is to survive, protect cheap early game carries, and try to raise Kindred and Kog’Maw stars. With 2 Lien Strike champions, each champion gains 4% attack speed each time they stack, up to 40% of maximum attack speed.
Mid game
Add Twisted Fate and maybe Draven if you see both, upgrade to level 6 in round 3-2, and continue to upgrade champions 1-2 cost. You may not need 4 Lien Strike if finding Draven is too difficult at this stage, you can still use 3 Lien Strike champions, still at 4% attack speed per stack. As long as you make sure the tank is strong enough
End game
The last thing is to find Zeri. If you have an additional Seal of Strike, add it to a 5-gold or 4-gold champion to deal damage at the end of the game. Accumulated at this point is a lot of attack speed and no need for attack speed support equipment. If you decide to roll for Draven before then, you can take your time to find many Zeri at level 8.
You can decide to stay at level 8 and level up the champions you have in hand. Either go to 9 to increase resistance slots or find more support in the team.
When you reach level 9, you will increase the odds of creating a 5-gold champion. If you see many 4-gold champions, you can also add them to the team at this time. At this time, the ratio of 4-5 gold is high, so you only need a lot of money to compensate for other generals or upgrade the main generals.
Standard items for TFT League of Legends season 14
The equipment of Lien Strikers is mostly support items to increase damage, of course because the buff is cumulative attack speed. Later on, when the scale is large, you may not need Cuong Dao. A few suggestions below will help you
- Kindred: Blood Sword, Rage Blade, Infinity Sword, Blue Bow, Giant Slayer, Death Sword.
- Kog’Maw: Blood Sword, Rage Blade, Rage Bow, Infinity Sword, Blue Bow, Giant Slayer, Death Sword.
- Twisted Fate: Bao Thach Gloves, Fang, Nashow, Thuong Shojin, Rage Blade, Hextech Gun Sword.
- Draven: Rage Blade, Hextech Gun Sword, Red Amulet, Infinity Sword, Blue Bow.
- Zeri: Blood Sword, Rage Blade, Rage Bow, Infinity Sword, Blue Bow, Giant Slayer, Death Sword.
Advantages of Lien Kiem
- Simple and easy to understand, suitable for new and old players.
- Increases power over time, especially effective in long matches.
- Flexible, and easy to combine with many different squads thanks to the initial attack speed for the entire team.
Disadvantages of Lien Kiem
- Depends on the survival of Lien Kiem generals: If Lien Kiem generals are eliminated early, the damage effectiveness will be reduced due to paper blood.
- Only Lien Strike champions enjoy stacking attack speed, other champions only receive 10% of the initial stacks.
- Less effective in short matches, when there isn’t enough time to stack.
Position and how to play champions
Of course, you will put the main damage-dealing generals in the back row, and the tank generals in the front row.
-
Draven: Placed in a rear fire position where attacks can be made from a safe distance. Take advantage of the Link Strike buff to increase attack speed, always making sure not to be close to the enemy.
-
Kindred: Should also be placed in the defender position, taking advantage of the wide attack range and increased attack speed from the Link Strike buff to deal continuous damage.
-
Kog’Maw: As the main damage dealer, Kog’Maw is still placed in the corner or bottom row of any position but protected by tank and support champions to avoid immediate elimination.
-
Twisted Fate and Zeri: As damage support champions, their position needs to be balanced so that they can both support the main force and protect themselves against the opponent’s attacks. Zeri glides continuously and does not stand in one place, so she can somewhat avoid enemy attacks.
Each champion in the squad needs to be arranged to take full advantage of the Link Strike buff, while maintaining a balance between attack and defense.
