Gods, Death & Reapers reveals details about Closed Alpha 4

Answer the call of Death and enter the dark mythical world of the action game Gods, Death & Reapers this November!

Wolcen Studio has just revealed details about the Closed Alpha 4 test for the new game Gods, Death & Reapers. This information was announced after the game made an impression at the recent gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2025 event.

Being developed for PC, Gods, Death, & Reapers is a free action RPG game of the “Extraction” genre. The game takes players into a chaotic world, where Hack-and-Slash gameplay is fierce and the “Extraction” mechanism is full of risks. You will transform into a ‘Reaper’, carrying out missions under the command of Death himself, venturing into mythical worlds to eliminate the chaos that the gods have left behind.

Sanctuary is your secret base, where the Reapers prepare everything before entering the battlefields of life and death. Every battle is a risky gamble: you must overcome dangerous enemies, survive fierce PvPvE battles and bring home the spoils. However, the price to pay is extremely expensive: if you fall, you will lose everything you are carrying. Rewards belong only to those who successfully perform “Extraction”, and those items can be traded with other players.

The War of Myth and Chaos

Embark on a journey through meticulously crafted mythical worlds, starting with the legendary lands of the Norse people.

Face formidable enemies, complete quests and collect countless weapons, armor and powerful items.

Master diverse fighting styles in dramatic PvPvE battles.

Future updates will add a single-player story mode and a co-op PvE mode, allowing you to explore the game world without having to endure constant PvP combat.

Big Challenges, Big Wins

Expand your Sanctuary, customize your equipment to your liking, and take on quests with unique goals.

Extraction mode is where your skills are honed through each battle – survive to bring back valuable loot, or lose everything if you fall.

Subsequent updates will add maps, a trading system between players, along with new game modes.

November 26: 6:00 pm CET | 9:00 a.m. PDT | 12:00pm EST | 2:00 pm BRT | 12:00 am ICT (November 27)

In Closed Alpha 4the Reapers will once again step into the afterlife to test new systems, features, content and mechanics over a longer period of time. The game will support the following languages: Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, Korean, Thai, Spanish, Italian, French and Portuguese (Brazil), in addition to English. Other languages ​​will be added later.

Story Mode is here!

Following community requests, Story Mode is finally launching in Closed Alpha 4.

Now you can explore the afterlife completely offline, without having to confront other Reapers.

Brand new introductory experience: The Pit

Closed Alpha 4 introduces The Pit – a completely reworked introductory system that helps new Reapers familiarize themselves with the overworld more quickly and intuitively.

Crafting Area & Sanctuary Improvements

There will be more new buildings and crafting recipes in Closed Alpha 4, allowing Reapers to explore new recipes and expand their kit.

In addition to these new assets, Sanctuary’s layout has also been completely redone to become cleaner. Along with improved viewing angles, the visual experience will become more vivid and realistic.
