Positioned as a super sports car, the Ferrari F8 Spider is completely different by emitting more pleasant sounds from the powerful V8 engine. This is said to mean that the F8 Spider’s exhaust system has been redesigned and arranged differently from the Tributo version, although it is also made from ultra-light Inconel material.

Of course, you can still feel the power and energy coming from the 3.9L V8 engine, but the F8 Spider will not roar and be overly noisy on the street. On the sound spectrum, the Ferrari F8 Spider can be placed between the Porsche 911 Carrera and the Lamborghini Huracan EVO.

Compared to its predecessor 488 Spider, the 2020 Ferrari F8 Spider supercar is about 50 horsepower and 9.5 Nm stronger. F8 Spider only takes about 2.9 seconds to sprint from 0 – 100 km/h and 8.2 seconds to reach 200 km/h, before reaching a maximum speed of 340 km/h.

Regarding driving feel, the Ferrari F8 Spider 2020 provides an extremely impressive level of feedback from every smallest operation. The phenomenon of “turbo lag” does not even appear at low rpm range, bringing excitement and sublime feelings when stepping on the accelerator suddenly. The braking system continues to ensure impressive performance commensurate with the power from the 3.9L V8 twin-turbo engine, combined with the FDE+ stability control system that allows the driver to easily manage difficult turns.

Thanks to an improved suspension system with adjusted dampers, the 2020 Ferrari F8 Spider provides a stable and relatively comfortable operating experience for a super sports car. Crossing roads with obstacles in front of you, the magnetic dampers will stiffen when necessary, combined with the F8 Spider’s aluminum chassis structure to help optimize the comfortable experience for passengers in the cabin.

Like its Tributo brother, the steering wheel of the Ferrari F8 Spider 2020 also provides a comfortable grip and easy control thanks to its smaller diameter and quicker response. Compared to the predecessor model 488 Spider, turning and controlling the steering wheel on the F8 Spider will be smoother and more accurate with immediate feedback. For the Italian market, the selling price of the 2020 F8 Spider convertible “super horse” was announced at 262,000 Euro (~ 7.15 billion VND), 26,000 Euro (~ 710 million VND) higher than the F8 Tributo coupe version. Up to now, the 2020 Ferrari F8 Spider has officially ‘launched’ in Southeast Asia with Malaysia being the first market in the region, followed by Thailand. The selling price of F8 Spider in these two markets is quite different due to different tax rates. Specifically, for the Malaysian market, the starting price is 1,178 million RM (~ 6.5 billion VND), while in Thailand it is 26.35 million baht (~ 19.7 billion VND).
