Super Mario Bros Wonder Switch 2 reveals new gameplay and content – Game News
Nintendo just released a new overview trailer for Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Parkproviding a more detailed look at the new content that will appear in the upgraded version for the Nintendo Switch 2 system.
The approximately six-minute video introduces many new features, notably a total of 23 multiplayer modes, in fighting and co-op formats. The trailer also gives a closer look at the Toad Brigade Training Camp area, where one to four players can participate in a total of 74 different challenges. These challenges will be gradually unlocked as players progress deeper into the main game.
When completing training missions and other activities in Bellabel Park, players will receive Bellabel Water. This type of resource can be used to grow flowers or decorate the park with various decorative items, allowing the central area of the game to gradually change as the player progresses.
In addition, players can also collect new greetings to interact with other players, or unlock additional musical instruments so the band in the park can perform new music.
The new trailer also reveals many notable additions to the main game. One of the big changes is the appearance of Rosalina as a playable character. This is the first time this character has become a playable character in the game Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
Besides, seven members of the Koopalings group will also appear in the game. These characters will move to many different areas in the game world, forcing players to track down information and track them down to participate in completely new boss battles.
A new power item called “Flower Pot Mushroom” is also introduced. When using this item, Mario and his teammates will turn into… a flower capable of launching large flowers upward to attack enemies in high positions.
The number of badges in the game has also been expanded with the new “double badge” system. These badges combine two different abilities in one item, such as allowing the character to climb walls higher while also shooting vines that hook onto surfaces.
The video also introduces the Co-Star Luma feature, where a second player can control a Luma flying around the level to defeat enemies, or collect coins to assist the main player. There is also Assist Mode, a support mode that prevents characters from taking damage and falling into holes, making the game more accessible to new players.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park Expected release on March 26. Similar to other Switch 2 Edition versions, players can buy the new complete version on the Nintendo Switch 2 system, or just buy the upgrade package if they already own the original on Nintendo Switch.
On the occasion of the release of the new version, Nintendo will also launch three new Amiibo models including Elephant Mario, Poplin & Prince Florian, and Captain Toad & Talking Flower, helping fans collect more familiar characters from the Mario world.
