Smoother performance, no camera errors
iOS 26.3 Beta 2 updates a new modem to help strengthen the signal, fix the annoying blue camera error and improve smoothness on newer iPhone models.
The iFan community has just received the iOS 26.3 Beta 2 update with quite a large capacity, promising to bring many important changes from within the system. Will this upgrade solve the battery and temperature problems that are causing headaches for many iPhone 17 Pro Max users?
Let’s join Minh Tuan Mobile in “dissecting” this update in detail to see what’s hot!
Update new Modem Firmware: Waves are “intense”
One of the silent but most valuable upgrades on iOS 26.3 Beta 2 is the Modem software (Modem Firmware). On the iPhone 17 Pro Max series, the modem version has jumped from 1.20.03 to 1.40.02.
This is a big step forward, promising to completely overcome the problem of weak signal, 5G network dropout or slow network switching that some users previously encountered. If you are having trouble connecting, this is the most convincing reason to upgrade to this Beta version.
Siri is smarter thanks to the “intelligence” of Google Gemini?
A shocking piece of information just revealed in this update is that Apple confirmed its cooperation with Google to integrate the Gemini language model into Apple Intelligence features.
This means that the virtual assistant Siri in the near future (possibly the official version of iOS 26.3 or 26.4) will become smarter and more personalized than ever.
This is a strategic step to help iPhone not fall behind in today’s fierce AI race.

Fix the error of Camera turning blue and freezing
The good news for mobile photography fans is that Apple has listened and fixed annoying bugs in the Camera app. Specifically, the phenomenon of the viewfinder being heavily bluish when opening the app has completely disappeared, white balance works correctly immediately.
Besides, the application crash error when taking photos with the main camera (1x) with the Flash turned on has also been fixed, helping you confidently capture every moment in low light conditions.
Performance and Battery: Smoother but needs time to stabilize
Regarding the touch and swipe experience, iOS 26.3 Beta 2 feels much smoother than Beta 1. Transition effects, especially ProMotion 120Hz, operate smoothly, with little stutter when entering multitasking or the App Library. Benchmark scores also recorded a slight increase, showing that Apple is optimizing the hardware well.
However, in terms of battery life, users need to be patient. During the first 24-48 hours after updating, the device may feel warm and drain the battery faster than usual because the system has to run data sorting (indexing) processes in the background.
According to initial reports, the battery is quite average, not too big a breakthrough compared to the previous version but enough for a day if the task is not too heavy.
Should I upgrade to iOS 26.3 Beta 2 now?
If you’re in Beta 1, update immediately to fix camera errors and enjoy a more stable network connection. However, if you are using your main device for work and need absolute battery stability, Minh Tuan Mobile recommends that you wait for iOS 26.2.1 or the official iOS 26.3 version expected to be released in early February.
