PMGC 2025: Alpha7 Esports wins, PUBG MOBILE announces Ferrari partnership – Game News

PUBG MOBILEone of the world’s most popular mobile games, closed out the biggest global festival in history as Bangkok hosted PUBG MOBILE Global Championship 2025 (abbreviated PMGC 2025).

The tournament lasts from December 12 to 14 at Siam Paragon, bringing together 16 of the world’s top teams to compete for the championship title, prestigious trophy and the largest prize of a total fund of 3 million USD.

After three days of “breathtaking” competition, Alpha7 Esports excellently lifted the championship trophy, followed by ULF Esports in second place and Alpha Gaming in third place.

Day one, D’Xavier took the lead with 18 points thanks to winning Chicken Dinner, while Alpha Gaming and DRX were second and third respectively. Alpha7 Esports is temporarily ranked fourth, keeping a safe position to make a breakthrough on the next match day.

Day two saw a spectacular comeback as Alpha7 Esports rose from fourth place to take the lead with 115 points after two consecutive victories. Meanwhile, D’Xavier dropped to 7th place with only 18 points, while Alpha Gaming and DRX continued to maintain stable performance in the top 3.

The final day of competition applies SMASH rules, in which the first team to reach 125 points and win an additional Chicken Dinner will become the champion. ULF Esports and Alpha Gaming won matches 13 and 14, respectively, making the race for the throne breathtaking.

In the final match, Alpha7 Esports reached 142 points, officially crowned and making a mark in PUBG MOBILE eSports history.

During the festival, producer Rick Li announced a series of major updates for PUBG MOBILEincluding a landmark partnership with Ferrari and the Scuderia Ferrari HP racing team, is expected to launch in 2026.

The city is also dotted with creative activities such as the collaborative exhibition BALENCIAGA | PUBG | PUBG MOBILE, a drone display of 2,000 devices on the Chao Phraya River, and a 7.2 meter tall Lone Survivor statue.
