One UI 8.5 Beta 8 on Galaxy S25: Quick Share easily!
One UI 8.5 Beta 8 on Galaxy S25 Ultra with a series of important patches and super smooth transition effects for Samsung users.
Samsung has just released One UI 8.5 Beta 8 with quite a heavy capacity, nearly 1GB. Is this the final stepping stone before we get the stable release next month?
After receiving the notification and directly upgrading on the Galaxy S25 Ultra, I had practical experiences to share immediately (note that this is just a personal feeling, depending on compatibility, each model will have a different experience).
This update not only comes with the March 2026 security patch but also fixes a series of outstanding errors, helping the device run “better”.
Galaxy S26 Ultra will soon receive the official version of One UI 8.5:
No lag, transition effects are extremely smooth
The first feeling after the machine restarts is smoothness. In previous Beta versions, I still sometimes encountered slight pauses when pulling up the notification bar or switching between heavy applications.
But with One UI 8.5 Beta 8, everything goes smoothly. Samsung has thoroughly resolved the flickering phenomenon on real-time notification cards, making the viewing experience very pleasant.
Animations have now reached maturity. Even if I continuously open dozens of tabs or surf the web at high speed, the device still responds immediately, without even a half-second “freeze” phenomenon.
Exciting new features in Collections and Studio
One thing I really like about this version of One UI 8.5 Beta 8 is the “Rewind” feature in Gallery. Samsung has added options to review memories by month, quarter and year with an eye-catching new story format. It makes finding memorable moments from the past 2025 much more enjoyable.
Besides, the Studio video editing application has also worked more stably. The error of not being able to save the original resolution after editing has disappeared.
However, there is a slight disappointment when the 24MP photography feature (already available on the Galaxy S26 Series) has not yet appeared on the Galaxy S25 Series in this Beta version, even though the Camera Assistant has a new update. Hopefully Samsung will “unlock” it in the upcoming official version.
Connect smarter with Quick Share
The Quick Share feature also received a notable upgrade. Device icons are now rearranged from left to right in the share panel, helping us select the correct device to send to faster.
In addition to photos and videos, you can now also share photo filters, stickers or work reminders easily.
Who is One UI 8.5 Beta 8 suitable for?
If you are in the old Beta versions and encounter minor errors such as errors in displaying the date when saving videos, errors in taking scrolling screenshots or errors connecting to Galaxy Book, this Beta 8 version has almost completely fixed those errors.
If you are a basic user, need absolute stability for work and do not want to take risks with test versions, you should try to wait for the official version even though Beta 8 is already very good.
Conclude
For me, One UI 8.5 Beta 8 is the most complete version ever, showing that Samsung is ready for the official launch. The device is cool, the battery is good and the performance is nothing to criticize.
Currently, the Galaxy S25 Series has an extremely good price at Minh Tuan Mobile. This couldn’t be a better time for you to “step up” and experience the best AI technology from Samsung early.
