New content will appear in Minecraft 1.21

Minecraft is always innovating and adding many new features and content, even though it has been released for a long time. It’s been many years since Minecraft’s first 1.0 update, which was one of the most welcomed updates. It has completed the game with all the basic features completed.

However, the update Minecraft 1.21 The future will bring a series of even more unique new features. While many have speculated about what will be added, there are a number of features that are confirmed to be coming to Minecraft in the next major update.

New mobs in Minecraft 1.21

Breeze

Breeze will be Minecraft’s new hostile mob, only found in the Trial Chamber structure, with the ability to control wind which is quite fun. It will continuously move, jumping from location to location while attacking the player. Breeze will have a special ranged attack called Wind Charge, which does no damage when it explodes and blows things away, but will damage anything it collides with directly. When that happens, it creates a gust of wind that pushes the entities back several blocks.

Not only that, the wind also interacts with a number of blocks such as levers, buttons, trap doors, lit candles, bells and fence gates. This will make defeating Breeze more difficult as certain rooms inside the Trial Chamber have points with trapdoors and blocks with levers. This special hostile mob will bring combat experiences never before seen in Minecraft.

Armadillo

The winning Mob of Mob Vote 2023 has just been announced and it is Armadillo. This passive mob lives in the savannah biome and can curl up into a ball. Its ability is to drop scales, items that can be used to craft armor for its tamed wolf. This addition will make wolves much tougher and make it easier for them to fight against hostile mobs.

Bogged

Breeze is not the only hostile mob in Minecraft 1.21, there is also Bogged. It is a green skeleton variant that can shoot poison arrows at the player, inflicting a poison status effect for 4 seconds. Players will encounter Bogged in swamp and mangrove biomes, where they will spawn with regular skeletons and other hostile mobs.

Another place where Bogged spawns is Trial Chamber, Trial Spawner along with bone blocks, podzol blocks and red mushrooms around it will spawn up to 6 Bogged mobs for 1 player in single player mode. So, if you find a Trial Chamber with Bogged, don’t forget to bring it and drink milk to detoxify the poison faster.

After defeating Bogged, it will drop regular skeletons, arrows and bows, as well as poison arrows. Additionally, gamers can use Bogged scissors and get two mushrooms of the same type or one of each type.

New structure: Trial Chamber

The Trial Chamber is a newly created structure in Minecraft that focuses on exploration and combat. Trial Spawner

Trial Spawner is a special type of Spawner that will adapt to the number of players participating in the battle in Trial Chamber. It spawns a limited number of mobs, unlike the regular monster Spawner, which are classified into 3 types.

After defeating the mob, Trial Spawner will enter a cooldown state, lasting for 30 minutes. Not only that, but the Trial Spawner itself also drops some valuable resources, encouraging players to find more, perhaps come back after the cooldown ends and enjoy the battle once again.

Each Trial Spawner will spawn mobs from all 3 types and only one mob of each type. The blocks around the spawn point indicate the mobs that will spawn from it. Below are the mobs that Trial Spawner can spawn and the blocks associated with them:

• Melee: Zombie, Husk, Slime
• Small Melee: Silverfish, Baby Zombie, Spider, Cave Spider,
• Ranged: Stray, Skeleton, Skeleton with Poison Tipped Arrow

New item

Trial Key

Trial Key is a completely new item in Minecraft 1.21 used to open Vault blocks, which can only be obtained in Trial Chamber from many sources. One of them is a chest at the entrance of the structure, the second is decorative vases in the hallway, and the third is a trial chest, with a chance to drop a Trial Key after completing the challenge . Players are more likely to receive a trial key from Trial Spawner.

Ominous Bottle

Ominous Bottle – the suspicious bottle is an item that gives the Bad Omen effect according to the level of the bottle. Players can obtain it by killing raid raid captains, looting standard and suspicious vaults. With the bad omen effect, gamers can enter a village and it will turn into a Raid Omen omen.

Ominous Trial Spawner

When the Bad Omen effect is present, the player can approach the Trial Spawner and it will automatically transform into an Ominous Trial Spawner. This Ominous Trial Spawner will summon mobs with equipment as well as random ammo and potions above the player and mob.

Ominous Trial Key

Ominous Trial Key is a suspicious version of Trial Key. Unlike its regular version, the Ominous Trial Key can only be obtained when the gamer kills all the mobs that have been summoned by the Ominous Trial Spawner. There is a 30% chance that gamers will receive this suspicious looking key.

Breeze Rod

Breeze Rod is an item gamers receive when destroying Breeze. These items are used in wind recipes, new mace weapons (Mace), and armor decorations. Furthermore, the player can combine it with the damaged mace in the anvil to restore 25% of the mace’s durability.

Heavy Core

The Heavy Core is an item smaller than a complete solid block, it can only be obtained from the Ominous Vault in the trials, with a drop chance of 8.4%. This item can be combined with the Breeze Rod in the crafting grid to create Mace.

Vault and Ominous Vault

A Vault in Minecraft is a block that can be opened with a Trial Key. It will then spit out items that the player can pick up. Everyone who opens a Vault block will be rewarded, but only once.

The Ominous Vault is an ominous version of the Vault. Unlike where the Ominous Trial Spawner is, this block generates naturally in the trial chambers. These blocks give gamers much better rewards than regular blocks, including Heavy Core items.
