More than 5,000 players compete, kicking off the most explosive NSOC 2025 season ever
After less than two months of opening the registration portal, the National Student Open Cup (NSOC) 2025 – the National Student e-Sports tournament – has proven its “huge” appeal when reaching the milestone of more than 5,000 students across the country registering to compete.
NSOC 2025 “fever” spreads to the nationwide student community
Launching its first season in 2023, the National Student Open Cup (NSOC) has quickly become the leading eSports tournament for the Vietnamese student community. This year, NSOC officially kicked off its second season, organized by Ocean Entertainment Group (OEG), in collaboration with BEAT Network, the unit implementing OEG Studio, under the consultation of the Vietnam Olympic Committee.
With a scale of more than 10 billion VND and a total prize of up to 2 billion VND, NSOC 2025 is not only a competitive playground for student gamers but also a bridge between eSports and university lecture halls, helping the young generation explore career opportunities in the digital age. This year’s tournament recorded the participation of more than 4,000 players competing in Teamfight Tactics (TFT) and more than 200 Valorant teams.
