LOCKDOWN Protocol: Vent repair guide
LOCKDOWN Protocol puts a group of players trapped on a ship with dissidents whose sole goal is to kill everyone on board. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew must complete a series of complex missions while unwittingly walking among would-be killers. Many of these tasks can be very difficult and require many steps to perform.
Each Lockdown Protocol player has a tablet that needs to be opened at the start of the game to see what the mission is. Each mission has a different set of to-dos that must be completed. To know where to go and what to do, gamers will need to open the tablet, hover over the mission list, move to glowing spots, and go around the ship to find their tools.
In this article, let’s find out How to complete the vent repair mission in Lockdown Protocolwhich helps players successfully perform one of the most complex missions.
How to find vents in Lockdown Protocol
When opening the tablet and looking at the left under the task manager, people can see a task titled Vent. When hovering over missions, gamers will see white dots flashing in each room. The first step is to move to each dot on the map to find which vent has been disabled. Vents that need repair are on the wall and will glow red, vents that work will glow blue.
Players will know how many vents need fixing by the number indicated next to the Vent heading in the task manager. To fix the vents, everyone will need a screwdriver. Typically, most tools will be found in storage rooms marked with orange boxes on the map. Take a screwdriver and go to the vents.
Finding broken vents before trying to fix them can save players a lot of confusion about where to go. It’s also helpful to remember which rooms have broken vents if you need help.
How to fix vents in Lockdown Protocol
When you find a vent with a red light, make sure to remove both screws. The screws look like silver circles. Once removed, store the screwdriver in your backpack or drop it on the ground to remove a dirty vent filter between the screws.
Make sure to hide the screwdriver in a place where only you will know if you need to drop it. Otherwise, other players may try to take it or dissidents may try to use it against teammates.
Now take the dirty filter to the engine room, indicated by a blue wrench. Here, players will see words on the wall reading Filter Washing Station with what looks like three washing machines and a computer below them. Place the filter into the top of the machine and click the blue button on the front of the machine. When the bar next to the blue button is completely white, the filter is clean.
Return the filter screen to the vent to open it, replace it in the slot, and screw both screws into the wall to lock the filter. The vent will now glow blue and everyone is done with it.
Once the vent quest reaches zero on the task manager, gamers can rest assured that all the vents have been fixed and find a new quest to complete. Just be sure not to encounter a dissident where there are no witnesses. Try to stick with someone you can trust to complete all your tasks.
