VCS Summer 2024 will officially kick off on June 21. In this 2024 season, the organizing committee will not allow the promotion round to be held. Except for the Rainbow Warriors, the 7 teams that were present in the VCS Spring will continue to participate in the Summer tournament to find the best faces to attend the 2024 World Finals and possibly APAC next year.

VCS Summer 2024 competition format
Group stage
The VCS Summer 2024 competition format has not changed too much compared to previous organizations. In the group stage, the teams with the best records will compete in a 2-round round robin, the matches will be played in a Bo3 format, 5 of the teams with the highest scores will enter the Playoff round.
Playoffs
To increase competition, this season’s VCS playoffs have applied the Hybrid Elimination format. Specifically, in the first round, the 4th ranked team and the 5th ranked team will have to compete directly in the VCS Summer 2024 Playoffs round.
From round 2, the tournament will return to divide winners and losers as usual. The top team will meet the winner of round 1, the 2nd ranked team will play the 3rd ranked team. The entire match will be played in Bo5 format, and finally, the 2 winning teams will advance to the finals and win tickets to attend the 2024 World Championship.
