How Apple Music Replay 2025 works

The Replay 2025 experience is now fully unlocked in the Apple Music app, allowing users to review their listening habits throughout the past year.

Apple Music Replay 2025 includes two main parts. The first is a year-end summary playlist with the most listened to songs on Apple Music during the year, accompanied by a Highlight Reel of images and videos designed to be shared on social networking platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Users can see total minutes listened to music, total artists listened to, favorite genres, and many other statistics for 2025.

Apple Music already offers monthly Replay playlists throughout the year, but this full year-end experience offers much more detail. This year, Apple says it has highlighted more music listening habits related to the following categories:

• Discovery: New artists have attracted you in the past year
• Loyalty: Artists you keep coming back to listen to year after year
• Comebacks: Artists who are back on your listening list

In addition, the Replay All Time multi-year playlist with the songs users have listened to most since signing up for Apple Music continues to be maintained.

Starting with iOS 26, the Replay experience has been fully integrated within the Apple Music app, but users can still access it via the web at replay.music.apple.com.

How to view music listening system in Apple Music Replay

Users cannot access Apple Music Replay through the app and need to use a web browser to access it.

Note: For the Replay feature to work, users also need to ensure that Use listening history is enabled on any device being used to listen to music. People can find this feature in Setting of iPhone (Setting > Music > Use listening history), Apple Music Preferences menu on Mac or in the Apple Music Settings menu on Android.

Step 1: Open the Apple Music application on the device, access Home page/ Discover and touch Replay – Look back at your own musical journey. Keep pressing Play your highlight reel.

Step 2: See the entire Reel statistics on your music enjoyment journey with Apple Music in 2025.

Step 3: Then, press Explore your dashboard to see detailed statistics for each category.
