Traits are special effects you can apply to claws and sifters in Roblox Shells. They help improve efficiency when collecting seashells, increase the chance of finding rare items, and increase stats such as luck and digging speed. Here it is every trait in Shells, what each trait does, and how to get them.

How to roll traits in Roblox Shells
Reroll Pearl Trait
To change regular properties, you need to collect pearls. Pearls can be obtained through quests, leveling up, and codes. If you participate in admin events in Shells, special chests will give you random pearls. You can also go to the in-game store and buy pearls with Robux. Once you have the pearl, follow the steps below to change properties in Shells:
- Press 2 or click the equipment bag button on the toolbar.
- Click the sparkling star icon next to the crane you want to change properties for.
- Click the pink x100 button to spend 100 pearls and change the attribute once.
Reroll Lucky Trait
Lucky attribute change has better attribute drop rate in Shells. Unlike pearls, luck attribute changes can only be obtained through quests, events, or special codes. You can also spend a lot of Robux to get limited lucky changes. Follow these steps:
- Open the equipment bag by clicking the button on the toolbar or pressing key 2.
- Click on the sparkling star icon next to the claw you want to spin the attribute for.
- Click on the green x1 button to use 1 lucky spin and spin one attribute at a time.
