How to play Split Fiction with friends
In Split Fiction, the latest game of developer Hazelight Studios after the great success of IT Takes Two, you and a friend play the two writers Mio and Zoe.
Mio is a science fiction writer, while Zoe wrote a fictional story. The duo is deformed into a simulation of their ideas, expressed in the form of a series of action levels, puzzles and the foundation that the two players will need to cooperate to overcome.

How to play Split Fiction Local Co-op
First, choose the option Play Local From the main menu of Split Fiction. Plug two controllers, then decide who will play with Mio and who will play as Zoe has completed the way to play the Split Fiction Local Co-op.
According to Xbox testing, the second player can even play with Local Guest account (not all games many local players support, such as Halo Infinite) and players do not need to connect to the Internet to do this.
How to play Split Fiction Online Co-op
Select the option Play online From the main menu. Click Y (on Xbox) to invite friends and select anyone on the list of friends on your platform (Xbox, PlayStation, PC Windows) or a list of friends from EA Account.
Split Fiction supports the entirely Crossplay on PlayStation 5, PC Windows and Xbox Series X. To play diagonally, make sure to turn on the Crossplay feature in the game’s settings.
The two players also need to make sure they are friends through each other’s EA Account. If not, players can add EA friends directly to the Split Fiction by opening EA Friends List, clicking Y (on Xbox) and enter the EA account name of friends. The name will display in the upper right corner of the same window.
How to play Split Fiction online with Friend’s Pass
The Friend’s Pass of Split Fiction is the feature returning from It Takes Two, allowing players to cooperate with friends online even when only one of the two people owns the game.
If you are using Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5, players will need an account with the online service of that platform (PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core corresponding) to play. In that gas, the Split Fiction player on PC through Steam will not require registration.
Although the Friend’s Pass applications of the Split Fiction are not working at the time of writing this article, but in the way the operation of IT Takes Two, the second player will download the Friend’s Pass application of the game from the platform store. After that, the first player will send an online invitation as usual (follow the above steps).
