How to play Jarvan IV “Prince of Demacia” in the game LMTC
When it comes to League of Legends, no one who has ever played this game does not know about JARVAN IV.
This is a long-standing general of this game, with his stubbornness and relatively annoying skill set that helps enemies have to “flash” through walls every time they encounter him.
If you are looking for a champion who can both solo lane (Baron lane) and jungle reliably, a champion who can deal a large amount of damage but still has high stamina, then Jarvan IV is a good choice. A bright candidate for you.
In this article, I will show you how to play this character “Prince of Demacia” in the most detailed way.
I. STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES OF JARVAN IV
#1. Jarvan IV’s strengths
– Large initial damage amount
– Can roam early in the early game with a set of moves that are easy to apply and control the target well
– Can use moves to get close quickly or run away when in danger
– Accumulates damage quickly, catches the enemy very well
– Able to withstand attacks well from move 2: Hoang Kim Giap
#2. Jarvan IV Weakness
– Because the move set is easy to apply, it is easy to be caught by the opponent
– Although the technique is easy to apply, if applied incorrectly, it can be counter ganked by the opponent
– Wastes mana in the early game
– The ultimate move can hinder teammates in teamfights and is easily countered when the opponent possesses the ability to overcome walls
II. JARVAN SKILL SET IV
PASSIVE: Spearmanship
- Cooldown: 6 second cooldown per enemy
- Mana loss: 0
Basic attacks on enemies deal additional physical damage equal to 8% of their current health
SKILL 1 (SKILL 1): Christmas Dragon Strike.
- Cooldown: 9 seconds.
- Mana loss: 50
Stabs forward, dealing 90 physical damage (90 + 130 bonus physical damage) and reducing enemy armor by 10% for 3 seconds.
If used together with “Demacia’s Yellow Flag” (move 3), it will pull Jarvan IV to the Yellow Flag’s location and knock up all enemies on the way for 0.75 seconds.
SKILL 2 (SKILL 2): Hoang Kim Giap.
- Cooldown: 12 seconds
- Mana loss: 30
Creates a shield and slows nearby enemies by 20% for 2 seconds and absorbs 65 damage within 5 seconds. Absorbs an additional 12.82 damage (2.1% of maximum health) for each nearby enemy champion.
SKILL 3 (SKILL 3): Astragalus Demacia
- Cooldown: 11 seconds
- Mana loss: 55
Throws Demacia’s flag to the target location within 8 seconds, dealing 80 magic damage (80 + 80% magic damage). Allies standing next to the flag will increase attack speed by 15%.
Clicking this skill when near Demacia’s Royal Flag will cast the Golden Dragon Strike (Trick 1) and pull Jarvan IV to the Yellow Flag’s position.
SKILL 4 (SKILL 4): Great Earthquake
- Cooldown: 90 seconds
- Mana loss: 100
Leap to an enemy champion’s location, creating an impassable area of the arena for 3.5 seconds and dealing 200 physical damage (200 + 170 bonus physical damage)
Reactivate to destroy the arena area
III. SKILL UPGRADE ORDER FOR JARVAN IV
The biggest priority is to increase the skill set in the order of Skill 1 => Skill 3
=> Skill 2
and of course the final skill must increase with level.
(Increases with level)
The reason for increasing the skill set in this direction is because it is possible to maximize the damage of Skill 1 (Celestial Dragon Strike) while also reducing the cooldown time to knock up the opponent from the combination of Skill 1 and Skill 3. (Royal Flag of Demacia)
IV. JEWELS FOR JARVAN IV
In my opinion, the gemstone of “Prince of Demacia” will look like this:
With a mobile skill set, great damage and strong ability in the early game, Conquer will be the most perfect rune board. For the side branches, if you want to cool down faster, the last line can be replaced with the “Hunter” option.
V. SUPPLEMENTARY PERMISSIONS
#1. For single line Jarvan (Baron line)
Flash and burn will be a terror for top lane opponents.
#2. For Jarvan forest
Flash and Smite are the main support spells for this guy.
VI. EQUIPPING JARVAN IV
#1. Jarvan “brute” (prone to damage)
This is one of the strangest ways to build items I have ever followed. With just 1 combo, you can quickly vaporize the enemy team.
However, this is a way of fighting that I do not recommend because it is personal and inhibits my team. (Recommended not to bring into ranked matches).
#2. Pure Jarvan (half tank, half damage tendency)
This is my favorite set of equipment to bring into battle because it is durable and has the ability to cause quite a lot of damage. Can support your team in a stable way.
#3. Jarvan “buffalo” (pure tank bias)
This is a pure resistance outfit. However, you should only go up when you are too weak or when your team has too much damage and no resistance.
#4. Jarvan counters mages (tendency to resist magic damage)
This is an equipment set if your team has too many mages and controllers.
Recommendations: These are just equipment sets that I have experienced and feel are quite good to use. If you feel you are not suitable for any equipment, you can replace it.
However, you need to think carefully because each match will have many different situations, so choose the equipment accordingly.
VII. SOME TIPS FOR PLAYING JARVAN IV
– Jarvan has good resistance as well as a large amount of damage in the early game. If you are a jungler, take the red buff first and pay attention to the lane position (especially mid) to support the gank most effectively.
– If facing champions who can overcome walls or flash, you should create some threatening situations so that the opponent can use skills to escape and the next time you gank, you know what to do. there.
– Although Jarvan has good resistance, his attack speed is a big weakness in the early stages of the game, so stay away from long-armed young men, wait for your teammates to come and hunt for kills effectively.
– The main combo I often use is 3 – 1 – 2 – 4. However, for generals who can overcome walls, it is 4 – 2 – 3 – 1 (and Flash if you feel it is too far or run away when Your team is too large).
VIII. JARVAN’S GOOD SUPPORT AND CONTROLLER GENERALS
#1. Support
#2. Countermeasure
