How to play Agent 30 Miks in Valorant
Miks – agent 30 of Valorant was officially revealed. Here it is What you need to know about how to play Miks in Valorant.
Miks is the new sonic radiant agent from Croatia in Valorant. This is the person who always raises the energy of the group. This character is optimistic and inspirational; he does not lower others to their level, but always raises them to his own level. Sometimes it’s fun teasing with teammates, needed words of encouragement during difficult times, or by using his sonic abilities to redirect the energy of his teammates.
Miks is dedicated to keeping spirits up and making sure everyone has a good time. While other agents like to attract attention, Miks directs attention to others. He’s confident and has his own style, but essentially, Valorant’s agent 30 is someone who always supports others.
If you want to master Miks in Valorant, here’s what you need to know.
Valorant Miks’ skills
Harmonize (Q)
Use the Harmonize skill and select a teammate to activate Combat Stim for both of you. The effect will be refreshed every time one of them defeats an opponent, helping both of them maintain momentum each time they fight. You can also press ALT-FIRE to activate the Combat Stim effect for yourself if you want to participate in a fierce duel.
This mechanism is quite similar to the power-up effect of agents like Brimstone, but the effect is shared and tied to defeating opponents. That makes it much more effective in coordinated attacks or retaking bases. Think of this as a pacing skill. Activate it before entering the base so that both players receive the power-up effect while exchanging kills.
M-pulse (C)
Miks’ signature M-Pulse device, called Impulse, is the first ability to really emphasize the character’s support role. It has two modes, switchable with the secondary fire button or the right mouse button:
- Concussive Pulse: Stun and disorient enemies with sound waves.
- Healing Pulse: Heals health to allies within range, can even penetrate walls.
This dual function mechanism allows Miks to adapt to both offensive and defensive situations, helping teammates survive or disrupting enemy attacks.
Waveform (E)
Equip Waveform to open the map targeter, allowing you to mark smoke locations across the map. After placing the markers, deploy smoke at those locations. On PC, you place markers with the FIRE key and deploy them with the ALT-FIRE key, while on console the order of operations is reversed.
The targeting interface works very similarly to Brimstone or Clove’s smoke placement systems. The main difference is the speed at which the smoke appears. Miks’ smoke is deployed immediately upon activation, which can help teams block vision during quick attacks. This makes Waveform powerful in coordinated attacks where timing is of the essence, such as cutting off line of sight just as your team enters the target area.
Bassquake (X)
Miks’s ultimate Bassquake sends a giant shockwave forward with the following effects:
- Deafs enemies, preventing them from hearing their footsteps or skills.
- Pushes back enemies, causing them to lose their hiding position
- Slows down movement speed, making it difficult to retreat or change position
This ultimate is perfect for initiating fights or turning the tide, helping Miks’ team control chaotic fights.
From initial impressions, Agent Valorant 30 – Miks appears to be an extremely strong addition to the controller role, offering both offensive and defensive potential. His powerful ultimate, with its knockback, deafening, and slowing abilities, can be especially useful when trying to control a chokepoint or bombsite. Plus, he’s one of only three Agents in Valorant with the ability to heal allies, along with Sage and Skye.
It will be interesting to see how teams will fit Miks into their lineups and whether he can carve out a place for himself in the evolving meta when it comes to professional tournaments.
Miks will officially be available on Valorant servers on March 18, 2026, along with the Season 2026 Act 2 update.
