How to MOD the Yamaha YZF R6 2015 into GTA 5

It is an open world game with a large map (area of ​​nearly 50km²), so vehicles for moving back and forth between locations to do missions, explore the world, or roam the streets are something that is hard to do without, so as not to become a blockbuster. GTA V into a Walking Simulator.

Vehicles such as vehicles, helicopters, planes, and canoes are not few, the game owns a total of 348 vehicles of all types.

However, they are all “counterfeit goods” and “poor quality goods” because Rockstar Games does not have the trademark rights of real-life car and aircraft manufacturers, such as Ford, Mercedes, BMW, Boeing, Airbus, etc. So So they cannot put images of other brands’ cars in the game, that would violate copyright.

If it were any other game, I probably would have stopped playing it, because I am a car lover, so the cars in the game must be “real” to be satisfied 🙂

Yet GTA 5 still retains its charm to this day even though it has been released for more than 7 years, all thanks to the strong modder community who make this game never get old.

It’s also thanks to them that so many supercars and airplanes, from passenger and transport vehicles to hot goods from countries’ armies, are included in the game, giving us extremely wonderful experiences without spending a dime.

And in this article, I will show you how to mod more vehicles into the game GTA V, specifically the Yamaha YZF R6 2015 motorbike!

I. Instructions on how to mod a Yamaha YZF R6 2015 motorbike into GTA V

#1. What needs to be prepared?

Just like modding characters in GTA 5 that I guided before, the requirements to be able to mod a car are the same. Those requirements are specifically:

1. Grand Theft Auto V (you can go to Steam and search with the code 271590 in the search box): The game must be installed and playable, guys, the “medicinal” version or copyright doesn’t matter.
2. Open IV (https://openiv.com): Indispensable tool to edit and mod everything in GTA 5. To know how to install, please review the article on Vietnameseizing GTA V.
3. ASI Loader x OpenIV Plugin : 2 must-have plugins for Open IV to mod and use GTA V mods (also included in the article in the Vietnamese game link above).
4. Means wants to mod : You need to download the mod file of the vehicle you want to enter the game to your computer first, there are many places for you to download them. All the mods I am using are downloaded from two sites: https://vi.gta5-mods.com and https://libertycity.net/there are also a few quality names you can refer to such as https://gtaall.com and https://gtainside.com.

In this article, I will use Yamaha’s 2015 YZF R6 version as a guide for you, partly because the R6’s mods are simulated in very detail, close to real life, partly because I quite like it. this car 😛

#2. Methods to mod vehicles in GTA V

Just like character mods, we also have two methods: Replace and Addon in this article I will only guide the method Addon.

There is also method Replace I will have an article for both car mods and character mods because they are similar, of course the simplest way.

2.1. Replace Cars : Similar to character mods, please rename the vehicle model files including ytd , name+hi.ytd , name.yft , name_hi.yft becomes the model file name of the vehicle you want to replace.

Applicable when you want to add real-life cars, planes, or canoes to the game, want them to appear on the street, making the game more lively because NPCs can use these vehicles.

However, this number of vehicles is less and is often made into vehicle packages Replace in quantities of several hundred pieces or more. Replacing too many vehicles, including vehicle mods that are not thoroughly optimized, will also cause FPS drops, or worse, game crashes.

And removing Replace cars is much more complicated than Addon cars, so you need to consider carefully or have a backup of the game before installing Replace car packages.

2.2. Addon Cars : Adds a completely new vehicle to the game, Addon vehicles will not appear until you use trainers to spawn.

They are no different from Replacement vehicles except that NPCs cannot use them because they cannot spawn to use them 😛

Car Addons can be completely installed in Replace form but cannot be done vice versa. In addition, because it is not designed to install Replace, if you try to install it, there may be an error due to incompatibility with the original car model of the game.

Unlike character mods, Addon car mods are much simpler and you don’t need to use any tools other than Open IV.

#3. Install additional components for error-free gameplay

+ Step 1: For the mod process and the mod experience in the game to be complete, we need to install some additional components, please unzip the file. hd-mod-yzf-r6 just downloaded above to get the necessary files or download it yourself above gta5-mods.com .

Unzip it and you will get the folders and files as shown below. First, install Heap Limit Adjuster and Packfile Limit Adjuster to fix the game crash error when booting to the Loading screen.

The method is extremely simple, just copy the files GTAV.HeapAdjuster.asi , PackfileLimitAdjuster.asi and PackfileLimitAdjuster.ini Put it in the GTA V game installation folder and you’re done.

+ Step 2: Next, you need to install gameconfig new to suit vehicle mods, note that you must choose the gameconfig version that matches the game version installed on your computer.

If you do not install gameconfig, GTA V will crash as soon as you spawn the modded vehicle, if selected wrong gameconfig version then you will be stuck at the loading screen and unable to enter the game.

How to choose the correct gameconfig version is not difficult at all, if you own a copyrighted GTA V then go ahead config Just play the newest one.

Usually it’s in a folder Gta Config v2x for v 1.0.2.xxx.0 the current latest version is Gta Config v24 for v 1.0.2215.0 ie 1.0.2215.0 .

As for GTA V “medicated” version, please follow the steps below to determine the correct version. First access the GTA V game installation folder => then right click on the file GTA5.exe => and select Properties to continue.

Window Properties As the image below appears, switch to the tab Details and check the number sequence in the line Product Version => that is the GTA V game version that you have installed.

According to the picture, I have GTA version 1.0.1868.0 And after checking again at the place where I downloaded it, it is true.

Because it is an old version, I will have to access the folder Older versions => Gta Config v20 for v 1.0.1868.0 to get the file config appropriate, other versions do the same.

Here we have levels such as 1x, 2x, 3x,… traffic and peds, you can take any, but remember that the larger the number, the more hardware it consumes, causing the fps drop phenomenon.

My computer is not very strong, so I will choose the highest level 5x peds 5x traffic dental. To restore traffic levels, select the folder Stock Traffic (Mean Gta base) .

+ Step 3: After selecting the file config It’s suitable for the game, now we need to use it Open IV can only change config original city config you have just chosen.

Now open Open IV Up, access the link mods/update/update.rpf/common/data => then turn it on Edit Mode to be able to delete, add, and edit game files.

Next, drag and drop the config file you just selected above into the folder data Hey, when do you see the text? Encrypted at the column Attributes of files gameconfig.xml disappears means you have installed the file config Just made GTA V successful. Now let’s start modding the car.
