King Pom-Pom’s battle mechanics in Honkai Star Rail
The King Pom-Pom boss battle is quite complicated because of many different mechanisms. First, the enemy will enter a state that deals more damage but also deals significantly less damage. King Pom-Pom will enter this with two stacks of Lasting Antibac. In this state, damaging it is almost useless. The only way to remove this Lasting Antibac stack is to collect Punchline, the Elation mechanic in Honkai Star Rail.
For each stack of Punchline gained, your Pommy ally will gain one charge. When it has two charges, it can use a basic attack on King Pom Pom to reduce one charge of Lasting Antibac.
