Genshin Impact launches Luna IV version with Columbina and Lighthouse Festival
Luna IV version “If One Winter Night, There Was a Traveler” will be the first update of 2026 for Genshin Impactwelcomes the Moon Maiden Columbina and the fairy from Liyue Zibai as playable characters, and the return of the Lighthouse Festival event brings many festive benefits to welcome Teyvat’s new year.
Accordingly, the adventure in Nod-Krai will lead to a decisive confrontation with Dottore, opening up the area of Piramida Citadel – Ratnik’s headquarters, a completely new area, where the battle against the Wild Hunt is still ongoing.
Delivering a major story update, the latest Demon Quest focuses on the climax of Nod-Krai, with Dottore continuing to advance her research after seizing the power of the Lunar Marrow, and a decisive confrontation with the Traveler and her allies inevitable.
Under this unprecedented increase in power, Dottore brought the battle into his specially distorted domain, overthrowing the inherent rules of the world and plunging the battle into deliberately created chaos.
Completing the latest Demon Quest will grant the Traveler an all-new outfit, as well as further revelations about Teyvat’s personal story and understanding of the elemental power introduced in the release: the Lunar-Celestial reaction.

When Elemental Lava and Elemental Water come into contact under special conditions, the Moon-Crystal reaction will activate, summoning three Floating Moons near the enemy at the same time. When activated three times, the reaction will initiate the Drifting Moon Concerto, dealing Lava Elemental Damage to nearby enemies and having a chance to inflict Critical Strike.
To take full advantage of the power of reactions, Columbina Hyposelenia, the Moon Maiden that everyone is familiar with, will also debut as a 5-star Water Elemental character using Magic Weapon, providing strong support for matches using Lunar reactions.

With her unique skill, Columbina can deal Moon reaction damage from combo attacks even when not on the field. In addition, she can also provide powerful buffs to Moon reactions in her special “Moonlight Zone”, such as adding a Thunder Cloud attack to the Moon-Electric reaction, increasing resources for the Moon-Sum Sum reaction, as well as increasing the number of Drifting Moon attacks for the all-new Moon-Crystal reaction.
Not stopping there, she can also transform the reactions of Electricity, Sum Suê and Water Elemental Crystallization into Moon reactions, and revive a teammate during the adventure in Nod-Krai, allowing teammates to fight together under the protection of the moonlight.

In addition to Columbina using the Water Element, the version also introduces Zibai, the brand new 5-star Rock Element Single Sword user, known as the famous White Horse Immortal in Liyue books and folk legends.
Offering a new ability to increase Moon-Crystal reactions, Zibai can enter a special state and accumulate energy, thereby releasing a powerful special Elemental Skill, dealing Moon-Crystal damage. As the number of times the Moon-Crystal reaction is activated increases, the frequency of execution as well as the damage of this skill will also increase, thereby suppressing the enemy with fierce attacks.

In the Luna IV version of the Prayer event, the first half will bring Columbina and the return of Ineffa, while the second half will bring Zibai and the all-new 4-star character, Illuga Ratnik of the Rock Element, wielding a Longhandled Weapon and fighting side by side with the messenger bird.

Accordingly, Neuvillette will also return with new outfits on sale for a limited time in the store.

In the first phase, Nod-Krai will expand north for the first time, taking players to Piramida Citadel, Ratnik’s headquarters. From here you can see Embla Pillar and Kipumaki Cliff, where the Wild Hunt is located to the west.

In the all-new World Quest, players will fight alongside Ratnik and Illuga to continue fighting the Wild Hunt.

Returning to Liyue, the annual Lighthouse Festival will return with countless rich events, generous rewards as well as stories about immortals. This year’s story takes place right at the time of the appearance of “Moon-Swallowing Toad”, revealing how the White Horse Immortal Zibai, who had been in seclusion for a long time, returned to the human world.

During the festival, players can place special Pepper Lanterns throughout Liyue Harbor, write blessings on them, and share them with other players. At the same time, receive Lucky Coins in Lisianthus Trees scattered throughout Liyue Port to exchange for special gifts, as well as freely enjoy many more mini-games filled with a festive atmosphere.
