How to get the Density spell in Minecraft

In Minecraft, you can get Density Enchantment by using the Enchanting Table, searching for the Enchanted Book in Ominous Vaults, or bartering with a librarian for it.

Use the enchantment table

1. Craft a Magic Table (requires level 30.)
2. Place a mace and Lapis Lazuli on the table to apply magic.
3. For the highest level of magic, craft 15 Book Shelves and arrange them around the table, keeping them two blocks apart.

Find magic books

Another way is to use a Spellbook to enchant your mace, although these are rare and don’t always contain the Density spell. You can get the Magic Book by using the Trial Key to open the Ominous Vault. Note that not all vaults contain a Book of Spells, so you may need to try multiple times to find it.

How to use the Density spell in Minecraft

Density Enchantment in Minecraft is rare and can increase the mace’s damage per block. It has five levels, each level increases damage by 0.5. For example, Density I increases damage by 0.5, while Density V increases damage by 2.5 per block.

In general, melee weapons, especially maces, deal additional damage when attacking from above. This damage increases with each fallen block if the mace is enchanted with Density. For example, jumping from a height of 10 blocks with a mace enchanted with Density V can deal an additional 250 damage, on top of the mace’s base damage.

The last thing to note is that the Density Spell cannot be combined with the Smite, Breach, or Bane of Arthropods spells.
