In a context where the auto industry is overusing touch screens, the 2026 Hyundai Palisade appears as a practical “strange breeze”.

In the new upgrade, many important changes of Palisade are almost “invisible” if only looking at the parameters. Hyundai added standard soundproof glass to the windshield, increased the window glass thickness and improved the sound-absorbing floor carpet, making the cabin noticeably quieter.

On the high-end Calligraphy version, the front side windows are also equipped with soundproof glass, bringing a feeling of quiet even when the car is operating at high speed, making conversation between rows of seats easier.

Instead of eliminating physical buttons, the Korean automaker chose to retain the knobs that control the air conditioning and driving mode, helping drivers easily operate without taking their eyes off the road. However, this SUV still does not lack technology with a familiar 12.3-inch central entertainment screen and intuitive interface. Notably, the Calligraphy version is integrated with a dash camera right from the factory, capable of recording when the car is parked, detecting collisions and movements, and storing data locally instead of depending on external applications.

The Calligraphy version continues to be “favored” by Hyundai with many equipment that usually only appears on luxury cars, such as 21-inch wheels, high-quality Nappa leather seats, calf support cushions and “Relaxation” seats that integrate massage modes for the front and second rows. With a tested price of just over 57,000 USD (1.49 billion VND), Palisade Calligraphy creates a significant competitive gap compared to competitors in the high-end segment.

In terms of operation, Palisade 2026 is equipped with a new 3.5L V6 engine with 287 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. The engine is combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive is standard equipment, while four-wheel drive is an additional option. In Sport mode, the car provides more sensitive throttle and steering response, enough to meet the needs of family use and long trips. Hyundai also confirmed that the hybrid version will launch in the fall, with a combination of a 2.5L turbocharged gasoline engine with two electric motors for a total capacity of 329 horsepower.
