All Zoochosis endings and how to unlock them

Zoochosis has many endings to explore and each ending is hidden behind New Game+. Whether through exploration or by choosing a different dialogue choice, players have many opportunities to venture down a new path and change their ending.

Zoochosis has 23 endings. However, there is not much variety in these endings. Similar to No, I’m not a Human, Zoochosis endings change dialogue based on choices the gamer has made in the game. There are only a handful of main endings that include different, unique animations that stand out from the other endings. This guide will provide information on all Zoochosis endings and how to unlock the 4 main endings: bad, worst, good and best.

All Zoochosis endings and their variations

Each ending the player unlocks provides knowledge to supplement another playthrough in New Game+. Each completed playthrough adds an area with a completely new animal species, providing more mutated beasts to treat. The game ends abruptly when the player returns to The Hub after completing 3 areas.

Be sure to return to The Hub after visiting an area. Not only does this continue the story, but it can also replenish resources at The Hub mailbox. Gamers should explore the storage rooms near the barrier area to find additional materials.

Zoochosis’s bad ending

This is the default ending of Zoochosis and may be the first ending the player receives. If the player follows all of Doc’s commands, they will receive an abrupt ending that forces them to sacrifice themselves to Mother. By following each target, Zoochosis tricks Paul into giving a block of meat to his wife (not knowing that this is minced human flesh). Out of meat, Paul puts Sarah in a blender and turns it into a mass of meat.

There are two main differences with this bad ending. If she delivers the meat, but does not use the severed hand to open the office, Lily will appear at the zoo in the morning, where she and Paul are killed by Doc. The alternative is to complete all the objectives, but open the office and call Lily. But it was too late, the family was eaten and in the end, Paul was sacrificed to Mother.

If the player is attacked by a mutated monster or completes the turn unscathed, Paul will be fed to Mother as Doc infected him at the start of Zoochosis. Similar to this ending, the player gives the block of meat to Lily, but forgets to tell her that it is made from humans. To do this, the player must enter CJ’s office with the severed hand, but do not use the cell phone to call Lily if it is picked up.

Worst Zoochosis ending

The worst ending is when Paul, Sarah, Lily and Doc die because of Mother. The player needs to free Sarah, enter CJ’s office and create the poison. The worst ending is ignoring Lily’s phone calls and guessing the parasite wrongly. To get the worst ending in Zoochosis, one needs to follow these steps:

• Do not give the meat block to Lily.
• Free Sarah.
• Find the severed hand from the clogged Biowaste Filter.
• Open CJ’s office with a severed hand.
• Cured at least 3 mutant animals.
• Do not use cell phones to call Lily.
• Choose a male parasite.
• Choose to inject poison into Paul.

Lily will be killed by Doc or the police, depending on whether the player gives her the meat block at the start of the game, ignoring her phone calls is what decides Lily’s fate. Her body is seen at the end where Sarah successfully injects Doc with the poison, only for it to backfire as the potion has no effect. Paul, Sarah, Lily and Doc are eaten by Mother.

Zoochosis ends well

Parasites can be collected in 2 ways. The player can kill an infected animal with three fatal injections or create three healing arrows (via Terminal) Based on the symptoms I collected. Although gamers can kill Mother with a dead or alive parasite, the female parasite must be found to create Poison for the Mother.

The easiest way to find the female parasite is to observe its behavior inside the tube. Move the vials around to see how each parasite behaves around each other. They will obediently sit still or show aggression if they are next to a male or a female. The player must move these vials around or they may choose the wrong parasite. Here are the things ichowi people need to know to find their children:

• PSM-A (Parasitus Sapiens Mutation): If two parasites are scratching the glass with a stationary parasite in the middle, then the stationary parasite is the female.
• IVM-B (Infectastor Venenatus Monstrum): The female will scratch at the glass, searching for a pursuing male. Meanwhile, the male remains calm and stands still.
• MIM-Y (Mutans Infectiosus Mortifer): Male parasite will try to climb on glass if next to another male. They will not pay attention to their children. This will show two male parasites side by side, trying to climb out of the jar, while the female remains stationary. Males will also not move next to females.

Although gamers only need one parasite, it is best to collect four to increase the chances of finding the female. Players should also cure mutated animals instead of killing them, that way everyone can observe the behavior of the living parasites in the inventory.

Some things to keep in mind for these wrap variations are these key steps:

• Don’t give the meat to Lily.
• Cure at least 3 infected animals and place the parasites in Parasite Storage (inside the cart).
• Save Sarah.
• Find CJ’s severed hand while unclogging the Biowaste Filter.
• Enter the Doctor’s office and call Lily.
• Select the female parasite from Parasite Storage (except dead parasites) and use Terminal to create Poison for the Mother.

There is a variation of this ending that benefits Paul and Sarah, but is bad for Lily. If she doesn’t hand over the meat block and ignores her phone calls, she’ll assume Paul has disappeared. This leads to Doc hitting her with his car and bringing her body in for Mother to eat. This dialogue repeats in many endings (regardless of the final outcome) and changes if the player chooses according to the wife’s growing concerns.
